Can anyone reccomend a decent hotel/b&b in the area of pendine??

Is it me or do most councils seem to be down on buggys, boarders etc?? Has anyone got a list or suchlike where one can have fun without being hassled by Mr Jobsworth. Plus whats the deal with insurance? I've got BBC cover but apparantly this is no longer good enough in some places - oh my god Someone help me PLEASE.
