  1. Was watching the guy in the yellow T-shirt in Chris' video yesterday. Him and one other guy were really kicking some ass on the kicker. A few photographers and us were having to dive for cover when they were coming off the ramp, 15-20 foot in the air, unable to control their direction. This was about 12.30 on Saturday, when the wind was gusting 30mph. They were flying a blue Sabre 9.5 and a Peter Lynn Arc-type kite (can't remember which model). Thanks guys - you rocked. Also like to thank the guy in the yellow jacket in the buggy who was flying the 6.6 B3 at the same time - got picked up a good 15 foot while we watched - he was really tearing it up - no fear! Dan
  2. All the Sabres out yesterday were blue and white! Nice kites.
  3. Lol. A great day on Saturday. Go for the cheese and ham pancake - it's the best.
  4. Just got home. Yesterday was AWESOME - 2m Ozone Fury boarding all day. Today couldn't get a 10.5m Blade to stay in the air. Left at 3pm. What an event though: well done, Flexifoil!
  5. wish I had a big kite
  6. Wish I could spin
  7. See http://www.xcweather.co.uk/ - my 'trustworthy' source for wind speeds.... You'll probably have to visit it pretty quick, as I doubt that the wind speed of 104 mph at Walton Air Base will be sustained for too long.
  8. Psychos! But what fun... love the groyne ones - what a sight man!
  9. The Blade is better IMHO - more aggressive, more lift.
  10. I'm lovin' that Carabiner knot http://members.aol.com/good%20heavens/biner.html
  11. Stick with your 4m man. I weigh slightly less than you and have a 4.9 which has had me 8 foot or so off the ground. Once you've flown for a while longer, you'll probably want a larger kite. However, don't jump necessarily 2 sizes, as the difference in power between the 4m and the 4.9m is considerable. Dan
  12. Hi mate, 1. Suggest that you trawl these forums as there is a VAST amount of content through them. 2. If you need any help with the actual building, you can PM me - I do it for a living. Take care, Dan
  13. Wow! Good luck with the cops mate. All sympathies to you.
  14. Airborne Kites in Brighton sold some mates of mine a 4m and a 4.9m Blade III yesterday, so they've probably got a few.
  15. Olivier! Salut, ca va? The problem is Horsham Park man. PM me your mobile number and I'll call you when I'm going down to the coast (going down this weekend, but not sure about winds). Dan
