Don't hold the handles with the power line between your index and middle fingers as you do with a powerkite. Hold the handles an inch or more down towards the brakes, this puts some tension on the brake lines and stops the flapping noises from the sail. Also don't pull on the handles to turn the kite, just dab on the brakes.
Sounds easier than it is but stick with it. Well worth it in the end.
What you really realy want is:

Would have gone but I'm away skiing that week.
Just got back into juggling after a six year lay off. As soon as I remember all of the things that I used to do, I'll start on five clubs all over again.
It's a vast lake so you should be OK but obviously as above ask beforehand.
The only problem that you might be up against is that there are quite a few X-country trails criss crossing the lake so you may have to pick a line between the skiers. I've never taken a kite although I keep saying that I will. Take something fairly large as the winds generally fairly light.
Thing is, that's what is supposed to have happend.
We had a fire evacuation last week and it's being claimed that it was down to said croissant. Management are now considering removing all microwave ovens from the site. No one has seen the said item or admits to it, so I'm not convinced that it's true. More like penny pinching and trying to force us to use the overpriced canteens.
To try the experiment might be pushing it a little
Here's one completely off the wall for you.
If you left a croissant in a microwave on full power for more than two minutes would it ignite?
I don't think that it would but there are others here at work who recon that it would.
Thing is, most of the birds fell out of the ugly tree, hitting every branch on the way down :D
ps, I work with the Navy so it's mandated that I take the ****

Just about any slope, any condition. Just come back from a week in Levi, Finland. Going back in two weeks time.
Max recorded speed so far 47.1 mph, must be able to hit 50 next time! Long way to go to catch up with the Pro's though.
Had a similar problem on a Quattro back in the nineties, eventually found it was a dodgy connection on the sensor. Might be worth a try wriggling the wires around leading to the sensor. Was easy to get at on the Quattro but not sure where it would be on a 80.
