  1. sunday morning bump for all you lot who went out yesterday in the bad/good weather
  2. 12 already gone 22 left. Thanks to both of you who have bought already anyone else want any please let me know
  3. I've got some for sale if you've got 20mm axles http://community.flexifoil.com/showthread.php?t=152298
  4. Hi Cleared out the shed today and came across a box of bearings I used to have for my libre full race when I had it. I sold up a few years ago to raise a deposit for a house so I don't have a buggy to use them in anymore. I've got 34 47/20mm brand new bearings still in oiled wrapping and boxed. http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s49/lardyb/DSC00547.jpg http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s49/lardyb/DSC00548.jpg http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s49/lardyb/DSC00549.jpg http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s49/lardyb/DSC00551.jpg They are £2 each with £1 postage or 4 for £10 inc postage If anyone wants to make me an offer for all 34 please feel free. cheers ben
  5. How would YOU know if they have an agreement?? Have you spoken to the mod or local council or county council?? no....... thought not
  6. Swansea all the way. I went there for the surfing initially but after a few years away have moved back for the buggy beaches. Another plus point is if you chose the right course realy low grades required (2 e's to get onto the course I did). Flying sites near swansea Swansea beach (outside the uni, be carefull in the summer though) Llangenith (not the best bit lumpy but fairly large) and great surfing Pembray (one word .............stunning) Pendine (not quite as good as pembray, could be worth it on a S wind when the ban is lifted) Can't think of any other uni with as many quality sites as near
  7. Feck me you lot have some serious issues up there. Calm the F**K down. I have know idea what the history of the access/bus/negotiations with the council etc. but anyone who is happy about something going up in smoke needs to see a shrink. some people just don't like others I guess but I think some need to be a bit carefull as to what they say on this public forum. Much less has been used against people in the past I'm expecting the neg reps for this but as I don't give a toss about them you be wasting your time
  8. £15 a night for up to 3 people in a tent/ motor home (me and my m8 got stung for £30 each for the weekend as we both went down in our own campers( and remember kids NO FIRES NO STEREOS You'll understand when you get there
  9. the secretary (me) wasn't there last weekend as I had picked up one of thoseflu type bugs (and still have it). I'm so sick I'm thinking of changing my name to michael jackson;) On the membership business. 1 all memberships recieved so far will effectivly run for 12 months from the 1st of jan 2004. 2 the cards have been a pain in the ass as the company who are doing them are "artists" and "need the logo in the correct format". I PROMISE to send every member an email after the meeting this weekend with their membership number and a progress on how things are going. (this is going to cost me a fortune in appology beers)
  10. don't listen to that fat get libres are ace. Proberbly best to try before you buy. find a group of buggiers and ask to have a sit in their buggys and maybe have a go. I know we would let you have a try in ours
  11. LD 2.1 If the wind is too strong for this you'll have difficulty standing up. It is an awsum kite though, perfect for a storm kite. The 1.5 is a little too twitchy in high winds. your better being a little overpowered with the 2.1. Plus LD's are built like brick privies. I haven't broken mine yet and I aint to gentle with it.

Oh god carlos is off again quick someone stick him in his buggy and put a kite in his hands so he can't type!!!!!! I'll be either down pendine or on swansea beach this weekend. You comming down carlos?? I heard you are off to see the loaf on sat night?

    20mm bearings?

these are top quality ones and if you want marine grease for them come and buy them on the beach and you can have some of mine. can't say fairer than that

    20mm bearings?

I'm now selling them at the price I bought them at as it wasn't a good Idea to buy that many in the first place. ok so £2 a bearing (only got 20mm ones left) so a set for a cameleon would be £12. Gunna be down pendine this weekend if anyone wants some.
  15. it was completly still this morning at 6:45 erugh I hate early starts (just think of the overtime!!!!!!!!!!!) what was xc saying
  16. It's not windy on the beach. Still as......... me thinks your plans have been scuppered. best get those 25m kites out to haull your fat arses round with no wind????
  17. Oi cheaky get I shower 2 times a week now.
  18. A better port to work the tides off is tenby as the bristol channel does some realy weird tide charts. I use this http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/marine/tides/20031105/0502_20031105.shtml If you do go there the access point to the beach is in the village (by the museum of speed). Drive down the slip onto the beach and your best driving up the beach to the first observation tower (about 2 miles). once you get there u shouldn't get bothered by the quad bikes etc. The beach is closed in the week as the MOD like to drop things near it and you know what their aim is like. As such your best to keep an eye out for any mortors that have strayed onto the beach and give them a wide berth. Freakin's dead right about the wind so don't bother traveling there if your miles away and it's northerlies as it's crap then (gustier than a gusty thing just out of gusty skool).
  19. I use marine grease (waterproof stuff for boat trailers) from any deceint chandlers. The only problem with it is that it reeks. I mean this sh1te stinks. seems to work though and as soon as the bearing covers are back on the smell isn't as bad
  20. theres a bloke called rico from cardiff who is fairly regular at pendine who has the m2 kit on his libre. he drives a big old blue volvo and his son mountain boards at the same time as he buggies. Keep an eye out for him to have a go in it. If he says no come and find us and we'll nick it off him for you to have a go
  21. you really are a misserable tw4t aren't you???? 4 posts with either dump ass comments or just plain bitching. Does anyone else supply a similar product???? not that I've seen. we should be praising M2 for at least trying to use a bit of inovation and making new products availible to the public. Of course things arn't going to be 100% first time but what is??? Look at the first buggies availible to the ones out now. I think it's called PROGRESS
  22. bloody 'ell 95 meters long for a spring. and I thought my buggy was quite big. Is this a bit like that bt advert with "tiny tina "being ironic???? If you mean mm then I might know someone who could help. I'll let you know after I've spoken to him.
  23. glad to see all us libre owners are out there working to provide for all you "House husbands". even carlos is out there somewhere, working his fingers to the bone and he's got a job
  24. If cameleon's are so good why are there hardly any original bits left on your's then (bad dad)? just the sides rails as I recall???? not even the seat. Richardb sorry for hijacking this thread but these cameliers need to be stopped. look at a full race or super truck if you can afford it. the deeper seat is much better than on the vmax. Oh and avoid the knobblies unless you want to go very slow (just ask snakebite about his super tractor)
  25. would you rather own a BMW or a citroen???? Libre german quality vs cameleon french........??????? (can't think of a word to discribe how the french build things) plus at least you can buy a libre and haggle for some discount. Cameleon's are like rockin horse sh1te and it's almost impossible to get any money off them (been doing it for 6 mins now)
