  5. Nowt wrong with Limewire;) You can't just drag and drop to it!?!?!? You need itunes to put music onto an ipod.... It tries to sync whenever you connect and if you plug in a different one it wants to delete everything and put on the playlists that are on the computer. The official solution is to create different windows user accounts for each one....... And I won't do that as that can cause issues itself with data...... I am trialing a prog called sharepod, will see what it's like. I use anapod with no problems, easy to drag and drop
  6. Sort of .......... ish! Didn't miss the lugging of all the gear and building/stripping the Buggy and definately didn't miss the aches and pains that normally go with it. IF any of my gear sells, maybe I'll get a couple of SLE's to cover all wind ranges and take it from there. Just seem have have lost the spark. Tuffty ........ really cannot see me doing golf, last time I went to a driving range for a 'dibble' I nearly dislocated my shoulder through trying to hit the ball so hard! hello mate been there done that but i know how you feel. I think kiting for most people has a 5 year half life then the spark just fizzles away. Still new ambitions and aspirations! hope you are well sigo

  16. Dudes! Thought i'd check in and say hello. So whats been happening? over the last 18months or so?
  17. Hi chaps long time no see. Just to let you know that after much consideration I am selling up and plan to have a break from kiting and buggying. I've sold the cameleon but plan to hold onto the kites and PL buggy just in case I get the bug back again. UInfortunately after 6 years I need to move on. I no longer have the motivation or passion for the sport. Strange sport this.. for the first few years it takes over your life. I couldn't get enough, every spare minute thinking about the next kite or mod and praying for a perfect wind. But now, i just keep on thinking about excuses not to go. When you bomb up and down the beach and realise that the enjoyment is no longer there then i think it's time to quit. It has been a pleasure meeting you all and i hope that the mabe issue gets sorted. with best wishes to you all Simon aka sigo
  18. The council has numerous byelaws which it can invoke, there is a byelaw for sakteboarding, cycling, playing football, model aircraft flying and yep a byelaw for kite flying. These byelaws have been drawn up by the office of the secretary of state. If the public have complained then the council can invoke the byelaw and ban kiting. Buggies come under the wheeled vehicle byelaw. been through this before, councils have a lot of say of what can and can't happen on their land. If you break the byelaw then i believe it is a civil offence, even though it is not a criminal offence...an officer of the law has the power to remove you.
