  1. IVE FINALLY GOT THE HANG OF BUGGYING (ISH!! ) ,AFTER MONTHS OF TRYING. BUT THE PROBLEM IM HAVING IS THAT WHEN THE WIND PICKS UP NO MATTER HOW MUCH I TRY I END UP BEING PULLED SIDEWAYS THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THIS IS TO STEER DOWN WIND THIS ENDS WITH ME TO FAR DOWN WIND TO GET BACK. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???
  2. how do you mount the sensor to the wheel????
  3. yes i do have BBC membership and i have told them. i do want to start flying at sheffield and ponti. but most of my sessions are spontaneous and fit in around other commitments
  4. no we dont have a club.the closest club is sheffield, but thier flying site is about an hour away. apart from myself i only know one other person in the whole of doncaster that buggies
  5. just spoke to the council and they have told me there is NO bylaws on the field, but they are concerned RE: health an safety
  6. after months of learning to buggy and getting nowhere. I decided to change my flying locations as where I normally fly is very gusty. so on Wednesday I set up on our local town fields, it was mid morning and the fields were completely empty (not even any dog walkers) after about half an hour it all finally starting to click:) off I went at some speed but for the first time I felt I was under control. I spent a good 3 or 4 hours having fun with my new found skill. yesterday I went again and was having even more fun as the wind was stronger:) after about half an hour I was approached by to community wardens who told me I couldn't fly because they'd had a complaint from someone living across from the field:mad: ... that's someone that wasn't even in the field they just happen to live opposite:mad: the warden was very apologetic as he said he'd enjoyed watching me and it looked like fun, but he'd got to act on any complaint. he said there was a by law that says that "no mechanical wheeled vehicles" are allowed to enter the field:confused: now my argument is that a kite buggy is no different to a pushchair yet they are allowed. I would also argue that a buggy isn't a mechanical vehicle as there is no propulsion system. what does everyone think????
  7. cleethorpes is great. rite at the top (through thorpe park caravan site) is the beach thats used by kiters theres a few issues at the moment with parking as they are extending the site, but nothing to worry about
  8. what speedo will fit on a buggy? is it just a normal bike speedo??
  9. i put my flexi sport buggy together today and noticed ive lost a part that fits between the forks and frame? im not sure what its called. there is two of them.one at the top of the frame head and one below. the only way i can explain them, is they are like a spacer or bearing??? anyway ones missing can i buy a replacement?
