@andy666 Yell out if you get lost in all the traffic diversions coming through Rockhampton. Just got my approval for 3 weeks of holidays from the boss this afternoon, so as of tomorrow afternoon for 3 weeks

No problem getting to Yeppoon through Rockhampton. Drove down to Gladstone and back today, new raised Highway seems to do the trick PS. How was that wind today @Chook ? Jeez talk about the long way around I would have thought they would go to Gladstone and then up to Rocky via Bus @gannet They are doing free bus service from Gladstone Airport to Stocklands Rockhampton https://www.themorningbulletin.com.au/news/flight-update-timetable-released-for-free-gladston/3163526/ Tell you what though the mosquitoes are as big as helicopters, buzzing around all night Soooo many police and helicopters in Rockhampton at the moment.

Flies pretty good for a paper airplane. Just needs some RC controls and an FPV setup and it would be a hoot.

Nice to finally meet you in the flesh Plummet, you looked like you had a ball out there. Glad you had some fun in the treacherous waters off Yeppoon Pity you had to go back and couldn't get flooded in for a longer stay PS. I was just winding you up mate.

They are now predicting a 9.4m flood for Rockhampton around Wednesday, from all the rainfall from Cyclone Debbie in the Fitzroy River catchment area (142,665 sq km). If the predictions are right it will be the biggest flood Rockhampton has seen since 1954. The destruction Debbie has caused down the East Coast of Australia is just massive, wonder how much weight the East Coast of Australia has gained in the last week from all that water.

@Northern Kites Australia The Pics I posted of Chook raking are Yeppoon Beach after Floods from a couple of years ago. The Point behind Chooks head in the one with the Beer is about 1/4 of the distance to Sandy Point. Tides on the way back in. @Chook Good to see you bought some cooler weather along with you. It was like the Air Con was on outside today Forecast is looking pretty good.

Probably a good enough reason to stay out of the flood waters. Shouldn't be to much of a problem up this way though as the croc's sort them out. This one was sunning himself near the bridge in Rockhampton the other day.
