They are hoping to run a couple more mountainboard days at Baw Baw next year .

The weather was great heaps of jumps, rails and a huge air bag, there was about 20 riders. Footages will be at Australian mountainboarders on Facebook .

It was supposed to take place last Sunday but for possibly the first time ever an event was cancelled due to too much snow. Will post pictures after 20th November I've never been to Baw Baw before so I don't know if there is anything room for kiting.

No kites involved but possibly the largest mountainboard event ever held in Victoria.

My comp 95 came with a MBS grab handle good shape with a soft grip covering.

I've been thinking about buying my first depower kite would the Access 8m be ok for landboarding. Thanks Craig

I was more worried about it landing on powerlines or someone's car.

I thought about jumping in the car and chasing it but it went to high and over a lot of farm/bush land.

Very little wind this afternoon but still wanted to go landboarding, I pulled out the old 6m ozone little devil grabbed my board and off to the Oval. Just got set up and working hard to keep the kite up with light wind, when a gust picked up lifting the kite and myself. As I let go of the bar I realized I didn't have the safety leash on. Standing in the middle of the Oval looking up at the kite thinking it'll come down it'll come down. Last I saw it was headed towards upper Beaconsfield, in a thermal spiraling upwards. This is a good excuse to buy a new kite, and a reminder to put the safety leash on before launching.
