  5. No they have about 90% the depower of bows but when the bar is released they keep flying. I have held the 7m Pulse when 7m bows have come off the water. Kite is still for sale! BIG BUMP Dave,
  6. Hey Splat, If you get chance have a look at the new Flysurfers, the Physco 3s are the new freestyle kites. The 10 or 13m would probably be the sizes you would be wanting if you’re keeping your 7m frenzy. Really good high performance kites, turning speed close to Cs, maybe a touch slower in the larger sizes, they also have good stability because there closed cell (not as good as arcs but getting there). I am now mainly water based but the 13m sees be from 10knts on the water through to 24knts with the 8m starting from 15knts through to 28knts+ (not been able to get out in more yet). Where do you normally fly? I am home from Manchester for the next few days and used to fly at Pontefract when I used to live in the area. Dave,
  7. Anyone got any videos from these litlle cams? Whats the vieo quality like? I am quite tempted
  8. Theres an old 26m Pyscho2. The new Pyscho3 only goes up to 17m and the Speed2 to 19m. mmm imagine a 26m Speed2 floaty!

  16. I'm a third year Aero Student and I always hated second moment of area. I found the solution was to simply not answer that question in the test. I love uni only have to answer three questions out of 5 lol. mm a directional would be fun!
  17. My understanding is that going up towards Formby point is yet another English nature site n they don’t want our cars near their birds during the winter season. If Southport Council were to allow us they would have every scaly n Muppet in the area racing up the beach. As for signage, nothing is instant in this world, there will be so many people involved in the approving of signs i can't imagine for a second it will be a quick job. Posts such as this help no one, we are lucky that we have rangers willing to support Kite surfing on Ainsdale and not simply ban it! Think of it this way, the birds were using this area long before us, so stick to the regs guys its only for 6 month n Ainsdale is worth it!! Edit: Good to hear Andy, hopefully see you about this weekend!
  18. Still up for grabs
  19. Bump it up; Cheers Andy

  22. Can't make it down tomorrow :( :( :( So on that note is anyone thinking of trying to get out on the water in the tornado which is coming our way on Sunday? I am thinking a Pulse 7m and a 128 misfit may be the weapons of choice. Bobby you know you want to;)

  25. Realtime weather at Hilbre Island: http://cobs.pol.ac.uk/cobs/met/hilbre/ 36 hour accurate (well ish) weather for wind rain and clouds. It won't normally predict squals all that well but it is the best predictions I have found for this area: http://cobs.pol.ac.uk/modl/metfcst/surpress/latest.php Dave,
