Hi, I have returned to Liverpool after spending 5 years down in Oxford working. Currently a kitesurfing member at the CBK on Hayling Island. I live in Liverpool and am hoping to find some buddies to meet down at the beach. I have quite a lot of spare time so am hoping to get out as much as possible. I don't mind giving lifts as it will help to split fuel costs. I am an experienced ex instructor and have kited for about 10 years in various formats! I am happy to kite on the Wirrel (West Kirby to Leasowe), up to Blackpool (Ainsdale and St Annes included). For those special days i really don't mind traveling north of Blackpool or all the way to Anglesey! Give me a shout and please let me know if there are any clubs, as kitesurfing on your own or not knowing anyone is pretty boring and uninspiring for progression! Be good to join up with a few people. Hi, I cant decide between the kite centres, which one is better for relaxing and allows recreational sun bathing so that my partner can enjoy herself on the beach? Looking for a bar, restaurant/area to eat something and sun huts,loungers etc - not asking for much! oh and compressed air for lazy kite inflation!! Any help would be good, i am a very competent kitesurfer but would prefer to steer clear of coral!

Hi, I am hoping to go on holiday with my girl friend in August/September/October. I would really like to Kitesurf most days but really need to find a destination which is not just for Kitesurfing! Both of us are 24 and would enjoy a lively and picturesque destination (not looking for anything like Ibiza). I don't really care too much for the destination as long as the wind is blowing , the temperature is high and water is warm (i.e. no wetsuit). On the other hand if it is blowing so hard that you cant comfortably sunbathe on the beach during the day its pretty pointless for my other half! I have been to El Medano before but wasn't too impressed with the actual kitesurfing experience! I am looking at Cabarete in the DR but unsure about the appeal for my GF. Kite Beach seems to be very far away from everything else and not sure what it would be like for a non wind enthusiast to be on the beach! Can any one help with past experiences. Any help for accommodation in the location would be great.

Hi, Im hoping to get out tomorrow for a kite after a long winter but have not been out much since Last Year and i was in the North at that point! Im traveling from Oxford so quickest would be to go staright south to Southampton. I have looked at the Tide situation placing High tide at around 4.56pm (Littlehampton), however im not sure about locations around the Southampton area. I am a qualified instructor so no problems with experience. Any help with where to go would be greatly apreciated. Spots i know about are: Calshot Hill Head South Hayling Littlehampton I am sure there are many more but i have no information on where would be good to ride an incoming tide and then finish off on the high tide. Preferable is flat water but anything will do! Thank you, any help would be greatly apreciated. Hope to find a few of you out as well. Rolf 07841869529

AND no help on the lift front! :-( Im going at 10am tomorrow to get to ainsdale for 12-12.30 (by train). If anyones about il have the nice 11m Ozone edge or an 08 7m Vertigo if its blowing above 30!

Liverpool is a sweet football team, No rolling around on the floor like panzies. Im a rugby boy to be honest! Yes its Rolf "as in Rolf Harris" but im South African so lets remember my home is some of the best kiteboarding in the world. Be very jealous! Tommy my mate you met in Dom Rep is buying a vegas from you potentialy! Im off to Tenerife with him in July (Anyone is welcome to join) Whos the lad in halls here iv got loadsa contacts within the uni. I started the Kitesurfing club which is now going down the sh**er but hay! lol. Pooly ur a ledge, last time i saw u we were drifting well into the bird zones saving my mate who'd released his kite! good times ( ALL for 1 One for ALL)

Hiya anyone kiting at ainsdale tomorrow, friday, saturday and sunday. Im looking to pack some good sessions in and with looks great 20 and above everyday! At the moment im having to catch the train from liverpool to ainsdale which is a bit of a drag. Was just wondering if anyone is driving past any part of liverpool who was willing to offer a lift?
