  9. The May Bank Holiday weekend of 2013 was a cracking one for KKC, wind was a bit patchy but the sunshine and good company more than made up for it, plus I had a new kite to play with. Many who turned up are now sporting bright red patches on various bits of their anatomy, while John.F our resident paramotor man had a bit of a day on Monday, managing to get his wing tangled in his prop.

  20. Sorry Dazza but I don't need two of em'
  21. Leave the 3mtr Blade alone its a killer, and not somthing to be learing on, bigger kites in the right wind are easier to control because they move and manover slower than a smaller quicker kite, giving you time to think and react. Kites can be very very harmful to your health, the temptation seems to be not to bother with a smaller safer low aspect low lift kite, because you will 'grow out of it' and get 'bored' quickly, my advise do not take the risk. If your going to fly fixed bridles' there is no kite for all seasons, you have to be prepared to lay out some cash for at least 2-3 kites. The safe 3-3.5 mtr kite you learnt on will later become your high wind kite, Hq Beamers, Flexifoil Rages are both good, be safe.
  22. Average is £140-150 I saw that one go for £200+ silly money, sombody must have been really keen to push it that high.
