+1 If it's the same model of laptop then it should be fine - I do worry about it not completing the backup tho.. does it just stop doing the backup or does it give an error message of some sort?

10m Frenzy 06 It's not big for some but it's my first de-power and I need just the right wind for the first couple of flights, too much and it's slam dunk time - not enough and I won't be able to get it to stay up!

The confusion around the BKSA is still around partly due to some of their website pages - such as the about us page, still showing the incorrect Sport England press release details. As of last week this should have been cleaned up. After my dealings with the both the BKSA and SPKA, I can highly recommend them both of them as professional bodies.

Just had a quick search through the forums and can't find any starter landboard tips. I've just been loaned a board (I'm picking up a new lid tonight!), and I'm looking for how to start tips. Quite happy flying kite(s) static with figure of eights etc. - but how do I get started on the board? Any tips welcome (I'm happy to RTFM if someone can point me at it) Cheers.

Why is it if I buy a big kite then for the next few weeks we have windes that are too strong to take it out in, but if I buy a small kite then the winds are too weak? I wonder what would happen if I bought both a big and a small kite at the same time?

+1 for a 5m Ozone Flow - I'm 16st and 6'2" and it's a lovely stable kite with plenty enough pull to learn with.
