Disabled mate, I,m the one legged motorcycling, kiteflying buggy rider;)
Thanks for the reply abbe, just wangled myself a santander 0% for a year, so should get sorted out now:D
Tricky one this, Try to explain the best I can:
Got a card with min repay rate of 2%. Already got 500 bucks on it interest rate 1.4 monthly so paying 7 quid interest on the 500.
Now they offer me 6.95% on new balances for life of balance which is approx 58p monthly int rate.
so if I put another grand on it then it would be 7.00+5.80 int per month. got me so far?
Only prob is they say payments made are allocated to the lower rate interest first, then to the higher rate.
Bearing in mind they only want 2% repayments which would be 30 quid, if i paid say 50 would the extra 20 thats paid go towards the higher rate of interest. confusing if you can understand what i mean. but anyone got any ideas?
Get training before you buy one, I used to paraglide, Rhossilli off the downs in Gower years ago. If you fly over the top of the hill and you are too close to the ground the air curling off the top breaks up and becomes turbulent and before you know it you,ll drop like a bag of sh*t.
Also best to find thermal lift or you got a long walk back to the top to get going again, also need to know size of canopy for body weight and different makes also handle differently. ie: beginner, intermediate, or advanced. etc:)
What temperature you hit around your area yesterday? (monday).
Hit 27 degrees in sunny Gower here, twas a scorcher I tell ya!
Make the most of it, dropping off after Wednesday.
Ahhh well, that was summer, good wasn,t it:eek:
If you find out what it is, let me know, I,ve got an advent about three years old, powers on can load the disc drive but blank screen only problem is can,t switch off with button, have to disconnect battery to turn off!
was static flying a 5 metre kite on the common, came down with leading edge on a gorse bush, couple of the front cells have now got pinholes, dont affect the flying though, could always stick some rip stop tape over them, but why bother as the rest of the kite is made from rip stop does what is says! (stops rips)
Went down oxwich on sat, tide was full in about 5pm, the beach near the slipway was heaving due to bank holiday and warm weather, some nutter got his 4x4 and inflatable dinghy on the trailer stuck in the sand to the left of the slipway, don,t know why he didn,t line it up on the ramp rather than trying to bring it out on the sand. (novice probably).
Wonder if it would have been busy today, cooler but fairly good NE breeze!
