  1. Have a look at the wireless networks in your area, if you can see some other networks they may be on the same channel as your own - which can cause performance issues. To remedy this you will need to access the admin page of your router and edit the wireless settings. I think channels 6 and 13 are the most common, but I may be wrong. Also make sure your network is secure so you don't have some neighbour using your connection for downloading with.
  2. Was there not a recall of early focus' because of something like this? I think it may have been the engine stopping at high speed...stopping other systems like power assisted braking and steering. Would be worth checking with a ford dealer to see if the vehicle is due a retrofit upgrade. Also from a quick google search, it seems that 2000 Focus' were subject to some kind of battery cable failure resulting in stalling of the vehicle.
  3. Is this still for sale? I've sent a pm, thanks.

  6. Tool are always good for a tricky bass tab. Vicarious, Schism and 46 & 2 are good.
  7. How about ditching forks altogether and articulating the buggy? Don't think I've seen that done before, not that I would have, but it could look quite nice and give a much lower profile to the front end. I threw together a quick example on the cougar chassis to convey what I mean, it's a very crude example of course, but it shows what I mean.
  8. Could you perhaps offer recommendations as how to increase the revenue received by the council? My personal view is to take ALL the taxi's from the area and sink them off East sands, creating a lovely new reef break. This simple move could increase the available parking by a factor of roughly ∞.
  9. The linked story on that page is even better.... Link
  10. Beaten to the punch, but two people suggesting the same thing cant be bad.
  11. I use Videolan, it plays almost anything. Not a codec but a simple standalone media player. Link
  12. You could get an external housing for your drive; plug it in to another computer and run a scan disk on it and hopefully sort it out, that or pull anything you desperately need from it. You can use a program called idump to take music from an ipod.
  13. but wont that mean l have to start all over with itunes, and set up all my customisations You could try doing either method, then maybe use File => Library => export library. Then transfer that library xml file to your 2nd pc? I can't abide itunes and never use it so it's only a guess, but I'm sure if you play about with it, you can do it.
  14. You can use a program called idump to take songs from an ipod and put them onto any other pc. LINK
  15. For £15-25 more you can get a custom made to measure suit from Snugg http://www.snuggwetsuits.co.uk/ Supposed to be one of the best suits you can buy.
  16. Place your hands up by Reef? Lyrics Don't match but it came to my head
  17. Got the 5m, delivered 2 days after payment. Cheers man.
  18. How much do you reckon for postage on the 5m Diesel ?
  19. I would try filing down the spot where you are drilling to get a flat spot, then either centre punch it (dont know if its possibleon a pool ball or not) or pilot hole with a small drill.
  20. What did the police do?
  21. Looks like an '03 from the snap shackle used as the safety release. Might be wrong?
  22. Me too... VW are not always as good as they are made out to be. Central locking, alarm, immobiliser all broken... 4 VW garages over 8 years couldn't get to the bottom of the problem, it was bought brand new and even went back to the factory and had a new wiring loom & alarm system put in! So in the end the factory bits were ripped out and replaced. Also had the fuel pump die, got the bill and dropped by M&S on the way home for some new pants. This is as close as I could get to a price for it...
  23. I had an absolute nightmare with them too, the only way I got to speak to someone was calling their office in Ireland. I can't remember or findthe number but try any of these: 08707/ 307 191 (UK Calling Rates Apply) 0870/730-7191 (UK Calling Rates Apply) 0208/ 6053000 (Landline Phone Number) 020/8605 3001 (UK FAX -- UK Calling Rates Apply)
  24. The Laird Hamiliton/Dave Kalama duo from Maui mention this in one of their DVDs. They Tried big wave riding on wind surfers and with kites, but pretty much thought that once in the wave all the other stuff (kite/sail etc) were just a hinderance. I can in no way say whether its right or wrong, just passing on what I saw on a DVD one time. It will either be All aboard the crazy train or Laird
