  1. Hey, wish I had the money to spare for the kite, but try uploading the photos to imgur then inserting links to the photos into the thread
  2. Hi guys, After getting a Slingshot Rev II 13m recently, I have really struggled to stop it from quite frankly hindenburging out of the sky onto me when the slightest lull occurs, what do you do to keep flying in gusty conditions? Cheers. james
  3. Ah now this needs some large repairs though :/ about a 5 inch tear across a seam and another 1 inch tear along the chord I may be able to get a slingshot rev 09 13m for a little over £200 ish, so am leaning towards that as a one kite quiver that will last

  5. Another possibility is an 09 slingshot rev 9m
  6. Yeah that's what I thought, it's just that I can get a mk2 Venom 10m rtf for £125, so its a bit of a bargain, but obviously not worth it if it will be uselesss to me :/
  7. I'm in a similar boat atm, I'm looking at either an Ion 2 12.5m or 10m, Peter Lynn Venom II 10m or a Best Waroo pro 07. I weigh 10 stone and fly very much inland, for a budget of about £200 which of these is the best? Cheers, James
  8. Pictures now added!
  9. just had a look, there are only about 5 kites for sale on there :s
  10. I actually sold the arc 2 years ago (reeaaallly need to update my signature ) I shall have a look on there Thankyou James
  11. Did I ever meet you out on the beacon? That's my usual spot and a few guys I had spoken to/had seen kiting dissapeared all of a sudden :s was this you? James

  13. I did the "get as far away as possible with the dog in tow" trick today, the owners were just standing, looking at me and watching whilst their dogs chased my kite around. So off I went down the field, and kept going, and going, and going. They soon started calling the dogs back then
  14. Hi guys, Been a while since i've been on here but for the last two years I completely lost the kiting bug, however I feel that a change of kite may just bring it back to me I only have about £140 to spend (I'm selling my two beamers atm) so I have been looking at a mk1 montana, I fly inland so it's quite gusty, nothing too awful though, has anyone any thoughts on these kites and are they suitable for a landboarder who wants to jump, just not too high Thanks, james
