    Probably had just a 6ft stacker when I joined. Then got a FB, added some wheels later with a homemade landboard. Finally got a buggy, which has changed wheels and axles over the years. At one time there was a local power kite club that had meets at Tibenham airfield, but those days are long gone. I still get the buggy out when the conditions are right, my last trip was about 3 weeks ago. Never ventured out on the water, always seemed a bit too cold and wet for me

    Google are forums dead and you'll see its not just this forum. FB groups are the killer, its so much easier to access content as you don't have to register. Maybe the forum could allow people to register with their FB account.

    A 2.4m could easily have you off your feet in high winds, so kite killers probably a good idea. And practicing letting go before its too late I've been dragged around by a 1.4m kite in 30 knot winds.

    That's not good, did you complain to Flexifoil? My several year old Blurr and handles are still going strong. Maybe they make the Sting down to a price, but you still would expect better than that.

    Yes camera was hanging from the primary bridle using a mini tripod. It didn't wobble back and forth, but it did sideways. Watching the video gives you motion sickness. And yes I'm in my buggy. The camera has wide angle lens so makes me look tiny.

    Caister on Sea, you can just about see the Scroby wind farm on the horizon. I was experimenting with aerial video, but it was all too wobbly, so I just posted some frame grabs instead.

    I stop by nearly every day too. It's a quiet time of year for kiting so that doesn't help. I wonder if admin could send an email out to all members saying we've not seen you for a while, why not drop by and say hello.
