  1. I bought this from Ebay but tbh its been far too windy to fly and because im still getting back into it its going to be too much kite for me at the moment. Open to offers and will courier for £10
  2. Looking at the winds around hoylake over the coming weeks it seems they could hit up to 25-30knots!!! Could even the 2.4m sting be too much in that wind. Would a 1.2 be more appropriate? or indeed any other recomendations? The lines on the 2.4 snapped straight out the bag as per my other post - should i upgrade the 1.2 lines if i buy one?
  3. I got myself a new sting this week and took it out today. Highly Disapointed. The reviews said it can handle high winds - tested to 50mph. It was very windy but no where near that!!! Literally 15 seconds in BANG the handle gives way - the line is pulled out of the hole. Thankfully i could see they were cheap ass handles so I had a much sturdier set from another kite. They were fine. Then on the next attempt - 15seconds in POP the line snaps!!! - I had a set of peter lynn lines with me that I put on - the kite was fine then. When you pay £140, even for an entry level kite, this is pretty disapointing. Has flexifoil, like all companies, started to let quality slip or have i missed something with my expectations? - bearing in mind i havnt touched a kite in about 8 years! To upgrade the lines is like another £30-£50.
