I'm posting here as i guess you guys are the biggest users of this kite. I read about this recall and wanted to know if mine would be affected as dont know if it fell within the dates when the fault happened. This is from flexi: "have had the front toggles sewn at 30 degrees off from the correct orientation which causes a reduction in strength when flown in 5 line mode." Seems that if i knew exactly which toggles and the correct orientation of the toggles i would be able to tell fairly quickly if my 12.5 was ok. Anybody able to explain this to me?

If it is lift you're after or you want to move on to boarding jumping etc then the 4.9 blade is a good way to go. However the gap in terms of lift and general pull on your arms towards the zenith between the sammi 3m and the blade 4.9 is a big one and you may find yourself needing to use a harness and strop between the handles for a bit of a rest. Another consideration is obviously a depower kite although obtaining one of these instead and the extra kit you'll need will be down to budget really... Ask around and see if you can try some different kites but if you do go straight for the blade 4.9 wear some kite killers and let go if it pulls suddenly (assuming you're not already miles in the air).

Form today the minimum is riseing from 20 to 24 days paid holiday. Does anyone know exactly how this works? If you currently get 20 days off but also get bankholidays xmass etc off too will you still get another 4 days by right? Also whats this about being offered money in lieu instead? "From October 1, the statutory minimum leave entitlement will go up from 20 days to 24. In April 2009 the figure goes up to 28 days. Companies will still be able to offer payment in lieu of the additional holiday entitlements but only up to April 2009; after that date, the full entitlement must be offered. The new regulations will be extended to part-time workers on a pro-rata basis." Do i get more flying time or not....?

Does this work the same in both 4 and 5 line setups, if not what are the differences. How much wind do you really need to make it roll over?

will this new loan interest rate come into play for old loans. For example if you took your loan out when rates were low is that the interest rate that will stay, or can they continuously put the rates up catching out graduated student as well as current students?

Hi one of the servers i have to maintain wont download its updates either (server 2003 r2) If u run windows update it detects the missing updates but whe u say download and install it just sits there saying downloading 0.00kb of 14.7mb eventually times out and says they failed to download. Stupid windows :-p

I guess that seems fair, will anyone be at wreake today? Only i have the day off and could do with someone showing me how to use my ATB lol I would come to the airfield but need insurance first, who do u guys use and whats the policy called i need? heard it was about £15?

Hi guys, I'm new and new to flying really too, used to have a stacker 6 for a couple of years but that prob doesn't really count, have just got a Blade III 4.9 so as u can guess im struggling a bit having never flown with 4 strings before. My flatmates have helped me fly it and stay alive in light winds in Mountsorrel. Wondering when anyone might be flying loughborough or syston and wouldnt mind having a quick look or fly of my blade to see if it set right and possibly give me a few hints. Looking to do jumping for now then maybe get in to boarding. hope this is the right place to be writing this.... Cheers Edd
