  1. I use a trailer these days, so my rack is up for sale. it bolts to a standard towbar mount (two bolts) and holds your buggy upright. the cups for the back axle have rubber padding, and there is foam protection on the top end. Viewing recommended, £50 in Newquay.
  2. Got to be worth a go..... http://winacamper.fatface.com/radams6
  3. Save as hard as you can, you know you really want a T4! Don't be too worried about muleage, most go on and on - a mate has just bought a mint 2.5 Tdi 102 BHP with 300,000 on it for £1300! Enough spare cash to put a new engine in if needed. My beast..... http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r147/dicktracy_photos/Bus009.jpg
  4. I'd be happy if I didn't have to go to work every day, yet could still put food on the table.......

    Tripods??

I've used similar to this, and unless you've played about with one you've no idea what it can do for your photos. Every £ you save toward kit like this (stuff you'll never replace, no matter what camera you buy) will be a £ repayed when you look at your photos.
  7. Cheers Sam - any chance of flying at your site, or is it private? I work at culdrose, and by the time I drive home to Newquay the light has gone, it would be sweet to have an hours fly before setting off home! (miss all the traffic too!)
  8. Helston eh? Do you fly inland anywhere? No trouble with the aircraft from culdrose? Always worried me, that!
  9. Hello mate, I'm up at St Columb Minor. Saw you on the beach, as we went and joined our good ladies up at the hotel bar for a coffee afterwards, you set up just below us. Par sounds alright, have to give it a lookover sometime.
  10. Where do you kite in helston? Very interested!!!
  11. I've used it for many years no probs - a reinstall is probably the easiest to do.
  12. Went out today Watergate Bay, so gusty it was terrible. Ripped the bar of my 3.5 rage out of my hands, snapped the safety. Is there anywhere good on the south coast, where the wind is coming from? It should be must less gusty.
  13. Nice attitude. Stop abusing people, get back to clogging the forum with adverts for your unwanted tat.
  14. Got myself a Zafira GSi (200bhp, 7 seats, lotus tuned suspension - Mrs Wife loves it!) http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r147/dicktracy_photos/Zaf1.jpg And a VW T4 (ex AA van - remapped to 155bhp, 6 seats, loads of room for kids stuff, buggies, kites - and the sand just sweeps out) http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r147/dicktracy_photos/Bus009.jpg
  15. Oh, and with the software (readily available if you know where to look) it can be your tomtom as well - I am selling my old one here if anyone is interested. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230318029577&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=013 PS, yes, this is a shameles plug!
  16. I have had 4 HTC phones through the years, and once you have got used to them they can be awesome. It is like comparing a mac (expensive, limited in software but ultimately very slick and looks gorgeous) to a PC (loooaaaads of software, relatively cheap but a little bit clunky) I would go (and have gone) HTC. Please don't turn this into a Mac vs PC thread though!
  17. Before you do anything drastic check this... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7792688.stm
  18. My other hobby is pretty much in my signature - my 2002 ex AA vw T4 transporter. Modified from a standard 102 bhp to 155.9, extra seats fitted in the rear, lowered 60mm, 18" audi alloys, lots more extras as well. Might not put up much of a fight against your scooby, but it sure scares some of the local boy racers..... http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r147/dicktracy_photos/Bus009.jpg
  19. and again - this is fun...... http://stripgenerator.com/strip/169388/

  21. I know this wont help much, but it is Your Choice - what suits you personally better? In am in my 17th year in the RAF, and the positives (world class training, subsidised housing, job security, adventurous training, decent wage) certainly outweigh the negatives (detachments to sandy places etc) for me. PS, I know it has been mentioned, but the Navy are currently undermanned, and are crying out for people. Promotion is very swift in comparison with the RAF, and many trades exist within both forces. If I was joining up again today, I would go for Avionics in the Royal Navy. Whichever you go for, good luck, I am sure you will enjoy it.
