  1. No worries.
  2. Looks like it will have to be turned into a seriously baggy pair of kite trousers then!! Good work Dek - you managed to trash my post with a seemingly inocent comment that pointed out that you have cheaper one for sale. If I was less chilled I might take offence!
  3. Beast of a kite gets me going early and isn't too bad to turn for a big girl. Ideal summer cheap 'one pump' light wind C kite. I have owned it from new, no repairs on the canopy or the bladders. Hasn't actually been used that much as i don't go to the beach if it's less than 18 knots - I only really use it on holidays. Price is kite only. £140 posted to mainland UK. Comes with the 'satchel' type bag. PM me if your interested. Or swap for a 6.5m Blade.
  4. I probably will. Money is money and 'goods' only have a relatively small amount of people who want them. (Especially 2 yr old kites) It's a buyers market at the mo, so I'll use that to my advantage. Good luck with the sale.
  5. John - Check my sig out - you don't need to pimp this kite to me! Eastcoast - I have just sent you a text with an offer. I am interested, but there are others out there for sale so I am not going to chase you too hard - it's up to you if you really want to sell. I can send you a cheque so if you are keen send me your home address via PM. Postage should be no more than £8-£10. (I am chatting to another seller as well, but there are 4 of these for sale at the mo across the various forums/for sale boards - 1 is an 08 at only a little more then yours) Cheers Huw
  6. Hi I'm interested. Have you had the kite from new? Any repairs in the bladders or canopy? Does it come with bar & lines? Cheers Huw
  7. Why didn't you call it the KY Club??? See what I did there?? LOL My oldman used to be REME.
  8. Glad i've given you more incentive to make it work.
  9. The time you will spend changing & replacing worn parts for the rest of your mountainboarding time is probably insignificant when compared to the amount of time you will take to devlope a carbon truck that works. Personally, I don't think you will ever make it work, even if you had the support of a large company and it's resources - it's just not cost effective. Only my personal opinion, but good luck if you go for it......
  10. So you have to join the club to try the demo kit - that's taking the **** isn't it?? Surely you can get a day pass???
  11. Is this a wind up?? 1st post an all???? Seriously though, self taught is well frowned upon these days due to there being far less room for error as the beaches are so much busier now. It is comendable that you got a foil to learn on, as this will teach you the finer points of flying a kite. Inflatables are so forgiving that they mask errors. If you can fly a foil well in the extremes of the kites range (especially the lighter end) then you will have a far better command of an inflatable. Lessons will save you hurting yourself or someone else as they will teach you all the safety aspects that only become evident after the event if you teach yourself. They will also give you all the best tips to allow you to progress quickly. Combine the lessons with your foil flying skills and your wakeboarding and you will be up & riding very quickly. I am old school and self taught, and you don't want to have the experiances me & my mates have.

    7m's

I'm 15.5 stone and I only have a 7m Rev because it's my wifes, otherwise not a chance. I'll hold onto my 9m Fuel well beyond 35knots, but the 7m Rev will get me upwind in a steady 20knots if I work it like crazy. Once i'm overpowered on my 9m though there is not much point in going out. I'd only get a surf board if I wanted to get out in less than 15 knots, but I've got other things I can be doing in those winds.
  13. This kite was bought buy me new in mid 2006. Never had a canopy or bladder repair and is in excellent condition. 5th line is on the kite, but can easily be removed if required. Comes in the black satchel only - no bar or pump. (I'll throw in a pump if you want to collect.) I could also add a brand new Airush bar and lines if required - only 4 lines though. Kite only - £150 Kite & Bar - £200 Postage - £20 Anyone interested? It is a light grey and yellow colour. It is a powerful beast and will fly in 10 knots, and starts dragging me about at 12 knots. Way too much for me at 20 knots & I'm 95kgs. I'm selling cos I just don't get on the water in these conditions, I'll be out on my mountain board. Kite is in Portsmouth, any viewings welcome, or make me an offer, I may bite your arm off
  14. You have a PM. What sort of methods do you have to accept payment?
  15. I haven't read a bad word about these Neos yet. I was after a Frenzy, but with the prospect of taking it to the Alps and the closed cells ability to handle gusts way better, I am seriously considering a Neo. Just not sure on the 11 0r 14. I guess the 11m would be best as I can throw it around a bit more if the wind is light. Only thing I have a concern with is the turning speed. How do they compare to the equivelant size LEI C kite? My 13 fuel will turn on its own axis when the bar is fishpoled - are the Neos the same? Cheers
