  5. Excellent for a first go..... Look forward to seeing some more..
  6. Well that lasted a long time....!
  7. Finger exercises my boy.... finger exercises..!
  8. I'd have payed good money to see that...! lmao
  9. Get a helmet at the very least & only take it out in light winds till yer really get to grips with it. Your 5m radsail is probably about equal power to a 3m blade so you can imagine the power the 6.6 is gonna have. Take it steady.... blades bite big style.
  10. Hey another Blackpool flier.... I'm not alone after all...! I'd say unless you're gonna get into some buggy or board action the bigger bullets aint no use in Blackpool. We can't buggy at Lytham coz that stupid out of towner put pay to that for us so if i was you i'd get the 7m coz it the most expensive (as already said) sell the damn thing & get something more suitable. There was a couple of guys battling with a 7m bullet at Lytham a few weeks ago & I was having a wail of a time scudding about with my 2.5. The trouble with bullets is they are pure pulling machines & unless thats what you are after then a big bullet aint really much use round here. You can manage to jump with the bigger ones but they do have a habit of dropping you like a free falling safe. Gimme a shout next time you're out flying & i'll see if i can meet up with you as i usually go flying alone.
  11. You can get plenty distance scudding if yer keep that bullet in the power zone. Especially on wet grass.. I find it quite easy to get 100yards plus on sand in a decent wind with my 2.5. The secret is keep doin figure of eights in the power zone.
  12. I use flexi hydro lines (30m) on a blade 4.9 no problems. There might be a bit of extra drag but i don't think its really noticable. Might be more noticable when the lines are wet though.
  13. Hey geeza..... don't get too stressed about a handle.... A handle is a handle...!
  14. Handles R US.....!
  15. These are quite nice...! http://www.brasparts.com/media/pro-6.jpg
  16. Go for a blade 4.9 on handles. Then when you learn to fly it properly stick it on 30m lines & you'll get plenty big air...! Treat with caution though coz it can spank yer ass.
  17. The police should have better things to do than sit with their feet up on the dashboard all day on the beach....! Some old doll will have probably been mugged or burgled while they were up there...!
  18. Well........ If yer read all the info on all the sites about restrictions they all say buggies and sand-yachts are banned but i can't find anything that says boards are banned....! You do see the occasional board up there as there was las Sun & he was flying right in front of the Coast guard station & if i remember rightly the coast guard landrover was kicking about & drove right past the geeza without stopping . The only thing i will say though is ive seen these guys before up there & where as I have a stroll out to get away from everyone, they fly a bit too close to the car park basically only 50yrds onto the beach. Nobody seems to bother the odd boarder if yer take a stroll out a bit but these guys might start people moaning.
  19. Defo agree with a sting if hes wanting a 4 line or a small Radsail if yer on a tight budget. If want it a bit more basic go for a 2 line Buzz or a Ozone Imp.
  20. LMAO...... Just found the same site & been gawping at it for the past hour trying to figure it out. I usually fly at Lytham by the coast guard station where they used to do the sand yachting.
  21. Ive just been playing about in the kitchen & i think i might have it sussed. I'll had a whizz round the car park tomorrow just to make sure before i attack it with the drill though.
