  1. We are due some strong wind this week, already started picking up now at 5am. Anybody going out in the northwest for a bit??
  2. Are there any Kite Shops in the northwest? Somewhere I can go and chat to a real person about the best options.
  3. 8.5m?? I dont want to fly away, just have some nice float jumps without disappearing over the sand dunes! So 6.5m is good for floaty jumps? I have my 3.5m Flexifoil rage for strong winds.

  5. So lots of you have different views as to which to go for so I like to hear what you think! Blade V 4.9m or 6.5m??
  6. Hey guys I'm looking for a kite to use to get some good hangtime in the air. I dont want anything thats going to come back and bite me in the ass though. Something easy to fly, not too dangerous like an old Blade. So what can you suggest? Originally when I was first looking I was looking at something like a PL Phantom. Also for jumping, would it be advisable to use handles or a bar?
  7. Hey guys! I have a flexifoil Rage 3.5m currently. I WANT A NEW KITE but I need it to be for both land and water use. Mainly using it on land until I learn how to kite surf - if I learn that is! So there you go - any help is grateful.
  8. Hey guys Just wondering if any of you lot were flying on Ainsdale today, 4th July?? I was only walking the dog but, as I havent flown for a long time its made me realise its about time I dug my kite out and got flying again.
  9. Hi guys! I have had a Flexifoil Rage 3.5m for about 6 months now and although its good for use on the board and in the buggy its not too good for jumping. Can you suggest a really good kite for use when jumping but also that can be used as an alrounder if needs be!? Cheers Hunt
  10. I seem to be getting lots of different views here! I have thought a lot about the options of kites too and think am gonna down size to something like a 4.0m or 4.9m blade 3. As a not too experienced with kites, people are warning kme away from the bigger ones!
  11. Is there any sort of restrictions to taking your kite out in Heaton Park in Manchester? Anywhere else that you can recommend to go in manchester?
  12. Planning on going about august next year and also for our honeymoon the year after! She flies kites as well but at the moment has only got a Rhombus Firebee 2.3m.
  13. I havent flown a great deal to be honest. I have flown a Peter Lynn C-Quad 3.2. and a blade 3 3.0m.
  14. Well its worth trying! That was the other option though. To get a Blade.
  15. meaning? What sort of air would be managable and what size of kite?
