  1. woah, wish i could be as deep. I love the bit where you're in the air! :D :D :D :D :D nothing can beat that feeling imo and yeah definitely a de-stresser!
  2. hi all, Quick Q - where would i find inner tube spares for my mountain board?
  3. thanks for the info - tried airjam but they said they don't do many lessons over July and August as its so busy. But they did say go in and see if anythings happening as there may be one or two impromptu lessons, possibly. Well fingers crossed
  4. Thanks guys - will give them a go
  5. Hi there just looking for some advice from the wet division of the sport. I'm off down to Newquay in a week and as well as learning to surf i'd like to finally get out on the water kiteboarding so thought i'd get a couple of lessons in whilst i'm down there. Does anyone have any recommendations for good schools or teachers in kiteboarding down that way. Also if anyone can recommend a surf school then that would be cool too. Can't Wait:D Thanks
  6. Definitley agree - I had a wicked time. My elbow didn't tho - but its all good. Snapped both my straps on the board. The first when i was on my way out down the beach. Thought it would be fine but then as i got to the farthest point i dare go the other strap snapped leaving me with a board and no way of keeping my feet attached to it. Made it back tho - not sure how- but i did with only an elbow scrape for my troubles. Felt vey weird not having the board attached to ya. Guess tho it will have done something for my riding. Bobby thanks for the help - it seemed to fly better after i spoke to you - you should start doing kite blessings or something. I guess after spending so much time on the baech and in the wind you gained some magical powers you can bless other kiters with! LOL :D Anyway great day - shame its not looking so good tonight. Probably be down most of the weekend though. And thx to the dude on a board with the 18m Guerilla who gave me a hand when it all went a little pear-shaped:eek:
  7. Me and my friends used to play with my friends BB guns (plastic pellets) when we were 14/15 in his back yard firing them at each other. That was a laugh (well until one hit you) Used to wear goggles and stuff to make sure nothing vital or tender got hit. So i'd say BB guns were quite cool, but not the high powered stuff tho. Plus is more fun shotting your mates who can shoot back at you than trying to hit some poor animal.
  8. ah, thx Ri chie, BLonde moment alert. ta

  10. Well one theory often coming up with homosexuality is that it is normal/natural and is natures way of curbing the particular species growth. Plus there are a few species in the animal kingdom that have shown homosexual tendencies. Who knows? Just thought i'd throw another view into the melting pot. Oh and to keep the thread on topic - I definately agree with the heavy sentence and castration bit, but have to say i agree with paedo's not being normaland having a mental deficiency, so how would counselling or psychiatric help work - I imagine it would just be ahuge waste of public money.
  11. You know you love kiting too much when... LOL, though is there such a thing as liking kiting too much??
  12. Well said Appo!!!! Couldn't agree more. Yes he sounds like a complete to$$er but he's done so much for Hip-Hop that you can't just judge him on the way he speaks.
  13. Not too bad thx, just back in my day job again. is snowing here too tho is slowly turning to rain but no wind either, so definitely no good for kiting. off at the weekend to cleethorpes to try out my friends blade 6.6 which should be fun - can't wait! How's your bubbly self?
  14. Thanks Steve, that's a bit more of what I was after. We'll just be using it for jumping at first whilst we get used to it, then move onto boarding with it hopefully.
  15. Thanks for that badger, any tips on how not to get lofted. I heard you shouldn't fly it straight to the zenith from right in the power zone
