Simon Pure Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 Has anyone been foolish enough to take their buggy onto the streets? Not that I am (seriously) thinking of doing this. The thought crossed my mind and I wondered whether some crazy sod has tried it. Quote
kinny Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 would be good if we could hire brans hatch for the day. (and book some nice clean wind - of course!) Quote
popeyethewelder Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 Silverstone may be available next year around July time when they suddenly realise they wont be having any more Grand Prixs there.....OOOOooops did I just say that.. The thought of hurtling down a closed motorway has often cross my mind, normally on the way home from a kiting venue Quote
martin Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 Wasn't there some Australian guy who scooted/boarded across Australia on their quite roads? Quote
Chip_Slog Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 cant say ive ever gone down a proper busy road, however have done it on our street which is on a bit of a slope. Theres a little road of ours as well thats quite steep, wasnt much room to turn at the end though, nearly ended in someones drive. Without the kite not enough room Quote
impmad Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 There's a runway in the middle of the Airboss airfield. With the wind in the right direction the speeds are awesome ! Full Body armour recommended ! Quote
dreadycraig Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 would be good if we could hire brans hatch for the day. (and book some nice clean wind - of course!) Racetracks are nearly always windy.:D:D Quote

Out the gate, down the road, turn left, over the crossing, through the gap in the wall onto the beach footpath and hit the sand. took about 45 seconds for him to do it or something like that!!
