dubai_reddragon Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 Hi PTW Another PB from yesterday in the desert. I was not early enough to catch the exped of SY and the guys, so 3 of us blasted around the flats bumping along. Wind was gusting quite strong so started with my 3.5 Blurr but decided to go bigger to the 5m...much more fun. 58.8km/h is an improvement and the magical 60 is not too far away. Fluffywoo managed to escape have a high speed spill, when her front wheel on her PL gave way and came apart but she managed to stay in one piece. I believe that SY has already repaired it, so she will be up and running for next weekend. We are all looking forward to your trip to our playground, make sure you bring your GPS. I believe that you will be using one of SY's DB series buggys..... You should be able to experience all the thrills and hopefully not too many spills of the dunes in our sand pit!! See you soon Pete Quote

Happyrich1599968804 Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Are those speeds above 50mph done in racing buggies only? I've got vmax libre & wonder how fast that will top out? Quote
Atavar Posted April 26, 2009 Report Posted April 26, 2009 Are those speeds above 50mph done in racing buggies only? I've got vmax libre & wonder how fast that will top out? I can't find the thread for the life of me, but popeye was beaten in top speed by a dude running a slightly modified RS buggy... Wether thats the crummy old RadSail or the Ralph Seager i can't remember but they are both budget makes. Quote
