So joining the team are you? ;) I hadn't realised they were needing another member, so you'll be posting in the 'sports' forum now!

Jim glad to see you got your transport logistics sorted out :) so is the uranium back at Hoylake again? Its Pembray next aint it?

Martie, when did you do that? I can't remember any 'blue' lights appearing today  :D

Nope, the radioactive buggy is back in my living room.

Hopefully I have time to rebuild the swan neck this week and maybe paint it and the newer stronger extenders, might be going back to Hoylake in a couple of weeks, with or to meet Bill.

After that the next race for me is PKA at Ainsdale in a month. I don't actually have my license but the paperwork etc. is all complete so I should have the thing before the next series weekend! Then it's Pembrey, Bill is a 'probably' for that weekend, if he drops out I may have an interesting time finding my way there! Roger might be a possibility but last year he was going touring shops in the south after the weekend for business reasons.

Of course the next race is the Irish supercup weekend next weekend, plenty of places available if you can afford the ferry over Easter weekend - just don't expect to take a van or roofrack!

Have to email Paul now!

Sorry for late post, this is due a combination of lack of proper t'interweb access at work at mo and a small snooze on sofa after film last night. But yeah sunday was good and went a bit like this:

turn up...no wind, nothing, not a breath but loads of guys down hanging about in the normal frustrated kiter stances. Some frisbee was played, some abuse hurled at me, conditions at st andrews were checked through the marvel of the mobile phone and martie and cris tucked into their first cider of the day.

More friendly banter was partaken of and we decided to hit safeways and pick up some bbq material. Having returned, said bbq was lit, everyone sat down, more chat, ris and martie crack open the newly acquired case of miller. martie then actually did some kiting with the frenzy, followed by me having a shot whilst martie ate his sausage sandwich...cris...drank more beer.

At this point the irvine flyers flag was noted to be moving more than the pathetic flap we'd become used to so various kites were launched, swapped, flown and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. After a truly satisfying afternoon on the trampa and guerilla (man, i love that kite) during which cris and martie seemed to always be willing to offer advice with a beer in hand the second bbq was lit, the final batch of sausages cooked and eatena and we all packed up and headed home. Not before cris and martie had split the (very few) remaining beers between them... did you spot a theme?

but anyway, had a wicked day, an awesome afternoon on the landboard and the grin is still going strong.

Apologies for the jim sized post.

Kel, Theres a sess this good friday and prob easter monday too with Martie Si and Jim (alexb hinted he may turn up friday), not sure where as Ive not checked the weather forecast yet.

Kel - thanks for sending my pan back, unfortunately I will be away using it and not wherever Cris thinks I am!

For the record this Sasquatch is not around for a couple of weekends or the week in the middle, if you want me you'll have to get a kayak and come and search the summer isles and surrounding coastline for me! Si looked at the map and reckoned it is the back of beyond, he is wrong, it is another hours drive past there!

Enjoy your weekend, try and remember to go kitesurfing without me to remind you!

Am up for kiting related antics this weekend and probably the one after as well... however may be up in inverness.

Anyway as far as this weekend goes, jim's not around as he's kayaking somewhere. Weather wise its looking southerly on friday, easterly over the weekend and monday... maybe st andy's then would be best?

Anyone got any better ideas? Dunbar?
