andy666 Posted May 3, 2013 Report Posted May 3, 2013 Good song, Great film clip. And all a true story Rudimental - Waiting All Night Quote
andy666 Posted May 4, 2013 Report Posted May 4, 2013 This song is doing the rounds on Facebook. Jewish rapper, talented and funny as hell Quote
jhn.holgate Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 If you haven't seen "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" do yourself a favour and watch it. I'll second that. REally good film. The only film I can remember seeing where there was applause from the audience at the end. Quote
jhn.holgate Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 I forgot to mention....speaking of music to kite by, I finally got off my lazy musical backside and have been busily writing and recording since late November and got the last song to my album finished last night. A couple of the tracks were actually started in the tent at Kingston! It's all instrumental stuff - Jazz Blues to Rock. The album's called 'Are We There Yet?' and you can listen to all the tracks here http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=913925 This is the album cover (got all my friends together for this shot ) I'll do a 'how I did it' type video over the next few weeks and post it up. And as a special deal, if you buy 1000 copies, I'll personally sign and send you the black synth guitar... Quote
BobM Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 How much of the purchase price makes it back to the artist(s)? Quote
jhn.holgate Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 How much of the purchase price makes it back to the artist(s)? Soundclick is pretty good - I think I've set the album at 12.99 (you get to choose from a bunch of presets) and I get $11.69 from that. Similar returns with singles. I have an upgraded site which costs me $10 a month (I can put better quality files on it) and I think over the last few years I've sold about $150 worth of stuff so lets see.......in 159 years I'll be.......broke! Hey, I can dream can't I? Quote
SoutherlyBuster Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Thanks for posting the link and putting the effort into the music John. Top quality sound production and great music. Like the Trouble in the Patent's Office and Where I'd Rather Be. Rather strange titles at times, rather amuzing. Quote
