OwenMM Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 Looks like decent westerly winds on sunday and monday, no rain either!! Riverwood seems like the best place for a westerly, any other suggestions? At this stage Ill definatly be there and probably Troy as well. Quote
Luke Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 Yep, you can count Me and Lickerdy (Troy), aaron is up for a buggy also, just got a txt from him. I agree with you that Riverwood would have more space (especially if its blowing) Troy thinks Rooty Hill would also be good, I am easy, Ill go to either location. Current BOM forecast : Sunday Outlook: Wind: W reaching 15/25 knots. Quote
lickedysplit_au Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 Done! See you up there Owen! Marty aka Rollenrolley will be there as well. 5 Buggiers already - who else is out there in Sydney that can make it??? You coming schmic?? Rob??? Buddah?? Ernie?? MarkD?? Quote
redshift Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 Is it Saturday the 28th or Sunday the 29th? If the Sunday i should be able to make it. As long as someone can give me the address/location of the riverwood site. I've just come back from a week sitting on the beach as a category 1 kiter in the Bahamas - ie with kite and not enought darn wind! Quote
Luke Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 Redshift that would be awesome, you are in Luck it is Sunday, at riverwood, meeting 10am early enough so that if Riverwood looks dodgy and gusty due to it being a westerly we waste no time in making quick assessment and driving 20 minutes up the road to Rooty Hill and get buggying. Rob, aka Scooby will be traveling with me again this Sunday and will be at Riverwood at 10am if you can all make it at that time that would be good as if we do decide to move to Rooty Hill it could save you a wasted drive. lickedysplit_au Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 Hi Redshift, Awsome if you can make it! Canturbury Council call the location "Kentucky Rd Reserve". It is on Kentucky Rd. Very easy to find it runs right along the M5 So far looks liike a few people turning up Quote
