SoutherlyBuster
Actually nice to see the Charger making a come back. Tried a 10m^2 years ago, quite agile and fast turning. Wonder what the bar pressure is like?

SoutherlyBuster
@Kamikuza do you fly one handed often on the foil, like I do for my uni-directional? I found at least with my Synergy Arc one handed is a lot harder, ie need to keep fighting with the kite to stop it auto-zenithing. Perhaps it is a lot easier with the new charger plus the pulleys are kept on the kite rather than taken off like with my 8m Synergy. andy666
Norm is right about fighting the auto zenith, but it's probably only as bad as fighting a LEI that wants to steer downwards. i think it's something you would get used to. IIRC . . . didn't the Navigator bar have a stopper ball? You can put the VPC bridle on the Synergy, again IIRC it keeps all the same attachment points. I just gave up on arcs (for Flysurfers) because the bar pressure was too much and the bottom end too little.
andy666
It must be close. my ex-demo Charger arrived today and in the box was PL's latest flyer. Guess what's on page 2!
windstruck
Maybe it's just me, but I'm struck by the sheer number and size range of this quiver: 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 18, 22. That's a heck of a range! I'm curious what the projected area would be on the 6m, maybe about 20-30 cm2? Jasper
nigel
You should find the projected area is about two thirds of the size. So the 6m projects about 4m.
Jasper
Little update, we didn't yet have the chance to do a proper photo/video shoot but we did throw it online today, on both peterlynnkiteboarding.com and peterlynn.com It's the same kite as the CH2 with the only change being the fabric, which is lighter and somewhat more airtight, but honestly you'll only notice this if you fly both models back to back for days. Hardwater Kiter
Shaving a bit of weight is something that has been needed for ages with the Arcs to bring their light wind performance up to an average standard. Except for maybe the F-Arc. Those things do pretty well in light winds. A UL version would be fierce!
