slam777 Posted June 29, 2011 Report Posted June 29, 2011 (edited) Yeah I saw it too, had a little chuckle to myself,...you see,,,we spend all that money on race buggy's and mods and fancy kites in our ever increasing need for speed when all we really need is some go faster rainbow brite webbing for a seat! GeorgeFromDevon Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 i suppose it must have been rather technically advanced, with thos rubber wheels. flower power seat. i wonder if buggy bag will do a rainbow range. Quote
smackay116 Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 If i sold my T3 on ebay id big it up saying one is holding the sand record lol. Iv got some of bbm flowerpower range lol Stu Quote
GaRRy Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Actually it may be true In the early 90's the record was held by Andrew Sands at 48 mph and in those days we only had little buggies like this. So just ask the for the uncles name and is its Andrew or Chris Sands (his dad and designer of the buggy and kite used) then its almost certainly what it claims to be. Its certainly a typical looking buggy from that era and could well of been built by Chris. Now whos laughing ????? Quote
RedSky Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 I've managed a top speed of 47.9 in my T3 Quote

GaRRy Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 The spider Modulus can be found online, Spider "38" MODULUS again im sure many will laugh but has several UK chamipions to its credit and the first european champion. Yep by todays standards complete pants. Quote
