My buddy still rides a set of original Peter Lynn bigfoot tyres with those early PL aluminum rims. They are kind of mid sized, not as wide as my plastic asymetrics but wider than a barrow rim. The tyres they had back then were far superior to the basic ones we get now. They had a distinct side wall and crown. Paul's tyres were fitted in 1996 and were ridden hard for many years before he got them. They balance very well and have a very wide foot print without the bulk of a beach racer . A guy recently joined our scene with a 1998 PL bigfoot with the same wheels. His buggy has amazing low rolling resistance. It is true the standard Pl Bigfoot buggy these days has bigfoot lights but it wasn't always like that.
