Hi Guys,

Please be alert, there was a shady character circuling the carpark on foot. He had no gear of his own with him, made some lame arse excuse like he was throwing a batton twirl and put his kite in the tree, and somehow in the process hurt his foot and now he can't kite. But if I look up the latest PKRA results he's in the "top 10 kiteboarders" etc etc. It all seemed pretty dodgy, then he asked for my phone number and if I was available on Saturday night. Seemed a bit intense considering it was Valentines day.

Anyway, I got a mugshot so if you see him around Altona be aware!!! He randomly puts his head out the window and screams "Flexifoiyyyylllllll."

On a serious note,I have snapped my atfl ligament it has been 12 weeks and have just recieved cortizone in it and it has reduced swelling down instantly,Has anyone else snapped a ligament in the ankle?I would like to know do they grow back if they are completly snapped .Can anyone shed any light on the topic .I will be seeing doctor to discuss ligament repair using surgery but it would mean 8 weeks off work,I need to be kiting for next season.

Keep up the entertainment Joel,i will see you at the beach. flexifoillllllll

Not fun I bet. Years ago my dad snapped his Achilles Tendon in one leg. From memory he did it lifting kegs while working in the cellar at a pub here in Canberra. I know that it was painful as and that he was out of action for yonks. I am pretty sure that it has never healed and remains in two pieces. If you look at the back of his calf you can actually see where the tendon has now retracted to the back of his foot and into his calf.

Im not sure that he really looked into getting it repaired properly and that was 15-20 years ago so things have most likely improved since then anyway.

Only one last thing to say.... (sticks head out window) Flysuuurrrfffferrr :P
