  10. Hi Mell I wasn't saying there should be areas for various levels of kiters, but for those that felt they were not too confident in the busy areas there was plenty of room on the field:D down "the bottom end"
  11. Had a great time at FW1 Improvements mmmmmmmm the area that was set aside for static flying was a little dangerous later in the day. Memebers of the public arrived with their one lined butterfly kites somewhat unaware of the safety issues that need to be observed with the power kites. I undersatnd that this area was under the control of the Stunt Kite guys but it needed some control as little kids (and their parents) who were there to have a great time as we were, tended to wonder around it, in what could be a dangerous area? So an area for static flying of Multi lined power kites maybe needed? See below As for areas for the less experienced flyers, the far end of the field (as far away from the camping area as possible) was almost empty on saturday pm! As I'm still very much a newbie to this fantastic pastime of ours and I was a bit worried about the numbers of general public in the static area I went down to the far end of the field and pretty much had it to myself:) , but the traction area was almost empty down there and maybe could be used for the beginers??? Also It was down wind from the music so had a great afternoon flying to music with no others around to worry about/crash into;) Thanks to all the FW1 team for a great weekend:D
