  1. If you've rodded it, and it still blocks then there's 2 most likely scenarios:- 1. something is going down your bog that's blocking it back up - excess paper, tampons, condoms, kids toys (you name it I've seen it down there:eek:) 2. your pipework is ****ed, and has an obstruction not letting the true flow of waste from the cistern Depending on the age of your property, I'd plump for the latter, and admit defeat and call in the pro's.
  2. It's been a fair time since I went to Soulac, but from memory the sand itself is soft above high water mark but with the Atlantic breakers coming in anything below this should be ok. There is plenty of sand around that part of France, it just may mean a trek to a less-busy part of the beach to static-fly rather than board/buggy. Perhaps contact the local tourist authority about beach use and possibly a net search on the French buggy/board group about beach usage around the Gironde. There's always Babelfish for your translation requirements
  3. there are laods of plans availible, but the better performance ones (ie. decent) require some software to do the plotting work for you - foilmaker and surfplan. Surfplan is software for foils and LEIs, where as foilmaker is afaik solely for foils As it's your 1st foray into making, I suggest something easy - the NAsa is ideal - loads of straight stitching, and will produce enough grunt (just not top end). If you're intent upon making a foil, the Eliminator series is a good start, constant profile throughout the kite and regular panels so can be made form 1 sheet of ripstop with minimal cutting. http://fly.to/foilmaker is the only link I know of, and appears broken http://www.surfplan.com.au/sp/
  4. idd, thought I was the only one "nerdy" enough to get some enjoyment out of that. Pity that just looks like the trailer and not game play itself Sweet memories
  5. been a while since I was in Jersey, but St Ouens is deffo the best place I found to buggy, and therefore kiteboard, can't comment of the kitesurfing though. As for the kite shop I can't find him listed now:mad: so would have said try him for your local knowledge. Enjoy it though
  6. Just when you thought you couldn't waste any more time at work, sat in front of a PC, here's another little thing to pass those tedious hours away http://www.addictinggames.com/theimpossiblequiz.html
  7. well you certainly see nothing like that on David Attenborough! truly awesome - nature at it's finest:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:
  8. http://miniclip.com/mko.php?c=qrosqBoisBoErBorFBoUBopBsossBUo7PSSRT6S3bouppu nowhere good enough, but not bad at 10:45 on a Sunday morning - when too hungover to kite
  9. like the idiot that I am, on the off chance I tried Morbius and guess what... NOTHING! sory Morb
  10. Defo agree with cheese and crimbo cake - but works well with all fruit cakes. A favourite of mine is Ketchup and lettuce, beats the hell out of salad cream! Gonna give the bombay mix thing a try soon, and if I can be bothered let you know what I really think!
  11. Lou and everyone else that matters You may want to consider using Wx Tide (http://www.wxtide32.com/) a simple to use program that predicts tides and is cofigurable to any place on the planet. It MAY not be accurate to the last minute with High/Low Tides but close enough to not to worry, I've never had a problem and used various versions for 4 years. Phil

FWIW you might as well contact the european distributors to see if they can give you any more info etc. http://www.vlieger-op.nl (or com?) and failing that dear ole Flexi might be able to point you in the right direction Phil
  13. For me, it's normally "Bread and scrape"
  14. So far that's another 8 nominations from all the email accounts I operate
