  1. Loving Mario Kart so add us and we'll have a game online sometime Wii code: 1110-3991-4861-7505 Rogue's Kart Code: 4811-7691-4571 Dazza's Kart Code: 5284-2158-7310
  2. Thank you so much for pointing out that I'm in The Cornishman was gonna keep that quiet on here (very embarrased K)
  3. 16 I flew it a few times. At 8 1/2 stone it was way too big for me. The other half found it too slow and got rid because of the FS pulse. The 13 come along very cheaply and needed repair so got a bargin I mainly fly the 10 and the 13 comes out for when I need a little bit more power but is always stolen by the other half. He likes it more than the 16 as the speed on the turn is alot better making jumping easy
  4. oy i'm a girl and what you think my next arcs going to be :p:p
  5. Anyone seen blade (oh and dazza-s banned for a while from the forum lol)
  6. Yep you will need to inflate. sand it down like a normal foil, close the zips and pull the leading edge into the wind using your hands. Get a nice amount in the kite (if necessary open the air inlets with your hands). Unzip for packing away. How much you weigh?. Best idea is to start in low teens as these pull like a train and feking lift! The manual for the kite is on flysurfer.de. Look under the support section.
  7. I thought it was a common habit of setting your kite up on the first day so it just stalls and then making minor adjustments throughout the life of the kite allowing for line length. All bars are going to be different depending on the age of the bar (leader stretch), size of the bar, type of bar, life of the kite (pig tail stretch) etc etc. Also if you have trim strap adjusters... do you have them in or out?
  8. wooo wooo easy guys! Just to throw something into the mix. How about lengthening the actual chicken loop line. Therefor giving more throw on the bar. This would effectively increase the range without adjusting the trimmer Personally with line lengths it's down to preference. I prefer setting up a new arc on the beach and changing the lines one the day. 20 cm seems alot
  9. dazza forgot to upload the vid of his creation flying at the beach yesterday. So I will do it http://www.kitegallery.net/d/87659-1/100_3784.WMV?g2_GALLERYSID=1a8c05dbc1b2b3d490dbcf1695d50284 Bare with the poor camera work. He was trying to fly with one hand and video with the other.
  10. Contratulations Mr Nobby As Dazza said, all the best to the rest of the family too
  11. Lol Hmmm...none of the other fliers went to the skygate thing (just me and Dazza) but perhaps you're thinking of the HQ thing before that, the one I didn't go to when there were crazy winds?
  12. Don't think so..weren't they the Kheo ones Dazza was going on about? The Scrubs were on a couple of boards Jan the HQ guy brought with him.
  13. oh yeah remeber you saying now but but but scrub ones dont look as good could just get dirt theory ones and just put mbs sticker on them then wont look out of place when go brown and rusty or could just clean it after i use it (thats not going to happen) I agree that the scrub ones don't look as good but I don't wanna be getting something that's gonna go rusty and when I tried the scrubs on skygate day they were really comfy so I was sold MBS sticker lol
  14. Trampa £35 a set plus delivery. But they're not stainless, I checked with them That's why I'm gonna go with the scrub ratchets instead, even tho the dirt theory ones are sweet
  15. no probs bud. aint half got long way doing things you told dazza he told rogue she told me hope it dident go that way for a reply to I'm don't mind being a middle man (well...woman) just did seem a funny way of doing it, lol. Glad you'll be back soon Blade
  16. Rayman arrived in the post today but haven't played it yet, looking forward to it even more after reading stuff about it on here I've not tried spinning the ball in bowling, I just bowl straight and it seems to knock plenty down
  17. I use whatever mp3 I'm feeling like and it's currently Marilyn Manson's version of Sweet Dreams (like in the car ad) - the intro is subtle so it doesn't get too annoying unless I don't notice it. In the past I've had Never Gonna Come Back Down by BT and also Blue Monday (again, the drum bit at the start isn't too annoying for other people) cos it's such a cool track
  18. We haven't got Zelda but I'm told the beginning can be a bit boring as you have to collect loads of stuff, but then it gets more fun
  19. Knew there was a reason I didn't play you, sure you would have cheated
  20. It's bloody fantastic if you ask me I don't play computer games of any sort but the wii rocks. It is just so much fun. As Dazza says, the boxing isn't very accurate if you know how to box (you need to exagerate the moves to be effective) I'd say there is skill involved but it's more skill with the controller than at the sport. Unlike Dazza I love Red Steel (mainly cos using the remote rather than a joypad means I can actually kill him ) but then I do like Time Crisis. Don't stress so much about it, just play, it's a little box of fun
  21. Loving the Wii so much If you want top graphics then it's not the right thing for you but as far as pure enjoyment and gameplay goes I think you'd find it hard to beat. Nintendo have been seriously sneaky in the development of this console and I've fallen for it totally Normally have absolutely no interest in games consoles or PC gaming but the idea of literally swinging at the ball when playing tennis (Wii Sports) or slashing the bad guys with a katana (Red Steel) totally appealed to me and having got it and played it, I'm not disappointed I think people really are missing the point that the Wii is aimed at the gap in the market, people like me who wouldn't normally play and people like my mum who think consoles are pointless, but who has said she wants to have a go at the Wii. I've never wanted to pre-order a console in my life but I did with this - well done to Nintendo BTW - you can get a web browser on the Wii if you really feel the need, it's designed to run Opera
  22. That's funnier than the original joke
  23. Really liked The Time Traveller's Wife, interesting book. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson is fantastic - read it twice and I never re-read books Currently reading The Bandini Quartet by John Fante (xmas pressie from my bro last year ), really liked the first book but struggling a little with the second but I'd definitely say they're worth a look
  24. Check out the Gwithian and Skypark Fliers thread Gwithian (in Hayle) and Watergate bay (in Newquay) are both good spots tho
  25. From what I understood, it's just a case of upgrading to the new free one
