im commin over from NZ in two weeks and i have a spare Blade II 4.9 that could be sold cheap for a new bee a cheap alteranative to getting a brand new Blade IV has lift has power just not brand new..It is the kite that i got after using Bullets and finding that i really wanted to get some air,the other fellas on here will tell you that this is a wicked kite ....for a beginner maybe a bit of a handfull but if you take it easy and dont go too hard (or it will kick your arse) it is still a Blade 4.9 just a bit older,but in ex condition i.e no rips or tears and no repairs I know that this is not the buy sell forum but would be happy to bring it over if your keen for a cheap beast that pulls like a schoolboy and lifts like a russian wrestler And as for you other QLD kiters ...why have i not had any replys to my post to find some one to go for a session with when i come over Please please get in touch so i can escape the family holiday for an afternoon or two........please

Last weekend @ my local boarding beach in Christchurch NZ i was lucky enough to be there with some of the local Peter Lynn boys (i live on the town where there factory is in Ashburton) they had 2 of the new scorpions out ,but they were the prototypes so they were not in all thier colourful glory 2 of the local fellas were buggying with them (both are from Peter Lynn)and they were fizzing about them ......personally im a Blade man but who knows ???? they were very impressive in the air bigggggggggggggg lofty jumps if i get some more info or pics i will post some for my fellow kiters from over the dich..........

Yep gets a bit cold now and again ...but your'e right bout the green grass under youre feet and the mountains .....definatly with a bottle or two of some excellent Malbourough wines. Crazy weather ....Today woke up wicked day ,sun shining, looked up at the mountains and they where dusted with a fresh snowfall from the crap weather the day before but it turned out nice and warm.

yea she is coming and the kids .....i mean she wont be able to pack all her stuff cause i will use all the baggage limit with my gear LOL Home is south a bit more where the nor west blows all summer Ashburton ...home of the Peter Lynn Kites I see him at the park every now and then but no communication cause i have always had a boot full of flexifoil gear....oh well maybe i will break the ice one day and get a demo kite from him ........Doubt it.. thanks i will contact him Commin over 3 March will be stayin down the coast for bout a week then will b stayin in Springwood for a week I lived in Springwood for about 6 years so can find my way round Bris ok When im over it would be cool to meet up with some local's for a session @the beach or park dont really care where 2 weeks without flyin the kites will make me go crazy so i will be packin the board and kites much to the disgust of the Mrs

cheers Sluggo do they take offence to boarding on the beach as well??? I have a park in my town and the trees have grown over the years and now its just seat of the pants stuff with the gusts coming thru the trees All good fun though Note to self .....yes allways stick a lid on my head as ya never know when the wind god is gonna let you know he/she is the boss I looked up the park looks huge .....Thankyou google earth best thing ever

Thanks Joel You will never guess what my last set of kites was ......... Yep Flexifoil Bullets 3.5 and 5.5 and 7.0 Moved on the the blades cause the bullets (allthough not really made for lift) used to drop ya like a stone ..but oohh the luxury model (Blade)floats ya down nice and easy,unless a big gust comes along and you get your arse spanked and then dragged like a ragdoll up the beach.....

LOL yea great time of the year for walkin down the beach ...lots to look at :wink: I lived in QLD for bout 6 years ages ago but wasnt into kiting then ,so dont know any spots to go ..found a couple on this site but nuthin really on the beach xcept kingscliffe (bit far away to escape from the Mrs for the arvo. So anyone from the coast that can help me out..........................

Hey there you fellas, Im comming over to the Great Southern Land for a couple of weeks in early March and am trying to find some spots to go kiting,will be stayin in coolingatta /gold goast and would rather board on the beach than a park,it would be great to get a few contacts from you blokes (cause you know where the best spots for different wind conditions.... Let me know all the details so i can plan the holiday around it (to the Mrs' discust)
