13m & 17m Strike 1, complete with bar lines & pump

Bump -
13m kite - Anthem, with original bag 17m kite - Anthem, with original bag (zips on side pockets are temperamental) Control Bar (4 line set up) Brand new Ozone lines Brand new North pump The 17m is in good condition with little use, the 13m has seen more action but is still in great shape, it has a small repair done by Flexifoil a year or so ago. I am only selling these because we have recently had our first child. I am getting less and less time to kite on land, let alone make it to the coast ! £150 the lot ! PM if interested Cheers Matt

Got all of my gear out yesterday, it has been shut away for over a year ! Got married and then moved house not a great deal of time to get out. Problem is that BBC and club membership has expired as well. Hopefully try to get out towards the end of the month. So what been going on? not been on here for over a year as well !

8.5 all the way, had a 9.0 Riot not a patch on the Blade. I have read on here that the 8.5 is beter than the 10.5, if the wind is that light I would go down the pub for a beer!

This was posted in the Kitesurf section >>here but thought that I would pop it on here as well in case like me you don't go in there too often. Its a free DVD looking at the progression of kitesurfing, it's an amazing watch well worth the sub £4 price tag. Next time there is a debate about Foil v LEI these guys were doing it with delta's!!!!! on some of the biggest bars. Got mine from Boarders. Enjoy!

People like me are reeping the rewards tho. Hoping to get into the water this year just picked up a 17m & 13m Strike 1 for next to nothing great condition. The chap selling them had just got a Sonic. Mind you boards are still holding good money not found one of thoese dirt cheep..... yet! -

What is the best way of attaching the stopper ball on the re-ride system onto the center line of a strike 1. (I have new lines the original ones had a length of sheathing around where the stopper was fixed do I need this on the new line, not quite sure how I would put it on anyway) And one last question in the photo below have I got the attachment right? Thanks Matt

Yeh I would go along with that I demoed a 10m that the Norfolk Power Kite Club open day last year it was ace, really stable and easy to use gives you loads of conferdence. In fact it was so good that Alex (Kellers) said he sold 3 10m on the back of the demo day. I am tempted to get one, might wait and see if any come up now the Venmon II is out. Matt

Just got back from having a fly, it must have been 3 or 4 months since I last got out. Been on a Health & Safety CDM course all week (ZZZZZZZzzzzzzz) finished at lunch today. I was a “proper” winters day, sunny, cold and windy 25mph. Got the 3m blade out and ripped it up for a couple of three hours, Ace !

Played around with different set ups on the Riot its needs quite a bit of brake but it never had the same grunt as the blades do. One telling day had the 9.0 Riot out realling not getting on very well, by brother came down and wanted to put up the 6.6. The blade even on the smaller size had way more power. He has a 5m Riot which I think is a better kite. IMHO the smaller sizes seam to be better. Matt

The 9.0 Riot is not a patch on the 8.5 Blade. I had a 9.0 Riot but had to sell it for car repairs. I have since got hold of a second hand 8.5 it is a different gravy!!! Smashing my bros car up was a bit of a god send:rolleyes:
