I took out my new NPW9 15m yesterday, first flew my smaller 5.3m for getting a feel for the wind and then setup the 15m (handles and 30m lines). I've got used to Nasa's constant power but the 15 was a bit too much for me, even if there was almost no wind. Suddenly though, there were a few gusts and I only dared flying it on the side of the window, and especially making sure I did not park it overhead and getting involuntarily lifted and dragged across the field.
After a bit trickery landing and attaching it to the ground stake, I had to try twice!! Then ran and packed the thing down before the ground stake could have flewn out of the ground... Phew, my arms were sore from all the pull :-)
So a few questions, anyone else flew 12 or 15m and in how strong or light winds?
Found new field for flying in north london, Cricklewood and would happily hav a get together for ppl to try out the Nasa's below.
