  1. a list of EVERY uk postcode with os grid formats !!!!! http://www.jibble.org/ukpostcodes/
  2. idea, how about you ask the flyers to add areas they fly in. eg i sign up as a member i then choose a series of drop down lists etc eg England > East Anglia > Northants > Kettering > then the drop down shows a lis of areas that all ready exist if the location isn't there i have to option to add it, then the website then links to multimap to show location of the flying site. (this way its less work for you to do) if it does exist you add your nickname to the list of flyers and some times when you might be there flying so it might read England > East Anglia > Northants > Kettering > Gleebe Flyers :- Bobby Joe - Mondays 1800 --- (flying) PM ME Joe Public - Wednesday 1500 --- (not flying) PM ME sgeorge - Mondays 1800 --- (flying) PM ME barney - Friday 1800 --- (not flying) PM ME the flying not flying is where user can edit if they are planning on going down, and the PM just like thi flexi forum, but it emails the member and then then the member has the choice to email them back or ring them or nothing as i said if some one hosts with PHP MySQL i will happily set it up/help
  3. i was just offering as i have Dreamweaver and php login suite, it take literally seconds to get it all set up ill show you what i did http://www.ktcsc.co.uk/Hockey (all my own work:))
  4. give me a couple of hours and i can knock the whole site up, if u have php and Mysql on a server i can make it in a matter of seconds, complete with admin and members area..
  5. i helps to make everything yourself... im just going by my interpretation of the mark scheme. i only only reason i said about it was, a buggy is 5 bits of tube to be made the rest is ready made eg seat wheels bearings etc.. that was only my point... it seems odd that his school/college doesn't give him an area to study eg a architect or designer, to copy the style of..
  6. doing A2 design a buggy was an idea but why??? a buggy is to bl00dy simple to make and build you could make 10 in the space of 2 weeks. other thing is to get marks you need to have the raw materials and make it, so that means your going to have fun making some wheels out of metal and then some bearings to match with a nice webbed seat. sorry the idea sucks for building a buggy. do a drawing board- now i might steal that for my project, as long as its in the style of charles rennie mackintosh. [[ thank the 'master' not having rep points ill be buggered now ]]
  7. i really dont know but if thats just related to your position cause when i was on a airplane tracking where we were its was right jumpy like second delay, then it ,must 'guess' what route you took. (but were traveling at 589mph). so conclusion GPS Etrex Venture, is perfect for low speeds(
  8. on my etrex venture, the satellite tracks the GPS receiver every 1 seconds. so you have to move a distance in a time over one second, and it goes as low as 0.1mph and the more constant speed you travel the more accurate it gets, slow down too quick you get a delay...
  9. it took me a few secs to work it out, go into Track on the main menu, and select Track Log On ! (obviously) then go to map annd used the down arrow to zoom in.... da Dah. you have a long snake of a buggy track
  10. Tuffty only a few weeks ago you were laughing at me for getting one, now look at you, the etrex Legend would be better for you, it has a ground map so you can use it whilst driving n all.
  11. a tramp runs into a pub, up to the barman says "quick quick i need a spoon" the barman being nice gives him a spoon. the second tramp runs into a pub, up to the barman says "quick quick i need a spoon" the barman being nice gives him a spoon. the third tramp runs into a pub, up to the barman says "quick quick i need a straw" the barman says whats going on out there, and why do you need a straw. the tramp says my mates just been sick but the other two beat me to it sorry, had to be told.
  12. go to your local car dealer and get some nitrogen put in them it stops them going down as the nitrogen molecules are larger than air as it can't seep through the porous rubber
  13. yesterday i was bugging with my 3.5 bullet, and this HUGE gust of wind got hold of me and catapulted me into the air. upon landing on my arse, the kite took a dive, and dragged me towards a t!t setting up to play cricket, despite me shouting to them earlier to get the hell away from me as the kite is pretty "wild" today. the kite did a fly-by by it self and carved up his plastic cricket stumps, which went bouncing across the field at high speed. please note: No people in knitted pull overs were harmed in this incident, but i wont be doing it again
  14. Townie Place on the net
  15. http://ukofficedirect.opnet.co.uk/Images/252/495291.jpg 100dB siren. Rip-cord activation. Pack Dimensions (mm): 113x156x20. Pack Weight (Kg): 0.041. Buy It here any ideas of attacking it to the kite for quick activation?
  16. Urm, Use the 1991 Dangerous Dog Act. If a dog or indeed any animal under your control injures a person or animal or damages property, the owner or person responsible may be liable for damages. This would be a civil claim and not necessarily a criminal offence. 2. If a dog is dangerously out of control in a public place, or a private place where it is not permitted to be, the owner; and if different, the person for the time being in charge of the dog, is guilty of an offence. "A dog shall be regarded as dangerously out of control on any occasion on which there are grounds for reasonable apprehension that it will injure any person, whether or not it actually does so." so i fly on a school field where dogs aint ment to be so i have a claim even if it chases the kite as it has intent of getting it
  17. hope thats just for the flying cause i dont really want to be in that sh!thole, un less im on the beach.
  18. just compared the speeds, and "goofy" the guy who i got it from. has set it up perfectly, but if you just read the instructions its a piece of pi$$ http://www.ktcsc.co.uk/bpk/peterlynnwheelstandard.jpg measure the red bit and affix the magnet on the yellow dot
  19. i had one fitted to my pl comp buggy when i got it second hand, all you need is a magnet and superglue, its not the best design i calibrated it with my GPS and it is spot on. so if you want a speedo just ask and ill send it to you
  20. A man walks in to a bar all dressed up, he walks to the bar and asks for a pint, the bar man pulls a pint, the guy hers a voice he turns around nothing the voice says "Coor your looking hot tonight" he looks round again still nothing. He forgets all about it and has his pint, He runs out of fags so he goes to the fag machine and a voice says "errr what you trying to pull dressed like that" he goes up to the barman and says, this pubs well odd i keep hearing voices, the barman says "dont worry mate its only the complimentary peanuts and that fag machine its just out of order!" again i am sorry for the poor quality of my gags
  21. Ah to Hell with it i have these mad ideas, but if i made a unit with an engine that mounts to the rear of the buggy with a "drive roller" which is a direct drive to the wheel, so there is no need for chains and pulleys etc, i could mount a V brake to the top, obviously not brill, but to stop my buggy when going along i use my feet.
  22. before you read this is a MAD idea, so i may try it for a laugh. i have a field round the corner and along a bit, but i have to walk there and drag my buggy down the path and wave at everyone who stares, and its getting on my nerves, so has anyone tried to attach a "clip on" motor to their buggy to transport them around? i was thinking about a ex-goped to be the "donor". is a stupid idea and should i now go and live in a hole
  23. you are 3436.22 miles from my location "N 52' 22.757 W 000'41.284" (i am SAD)
  24. http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=0101031400 visit them and buy a case and then attach the case to the down tube with a cable tie or two if you are scared it might fall off. i was looking at a http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=0101026700 handle bar mount, but i decided a cable tie was cheaper
  25. Jumping on a bullet is ok, i have 3.5 and i find it slow in a jump and you seem to "Hover" and float instead of up up and away. that you will experience on a blade
