  3. ...agree with u there buddy .went up me local field yesterday an the 2.5 neally pulled me out of the buggy 3 times . but the 3.5 an 4.5 get used most ......pete

  5. ......i find i can use akite size up on a buggy as opposed to a board.....pete
  6. .....the size of kite very much depends on the wind. big wind small kite .small wind big kite . having never tried abeamer ican`t help u on that one but it`s the same for all kites . some r just better at catching the wind than others .it is more important to get the kite size right if u r flying inland sites ie lumpy wind . set your kite size to the gusts an not the general wind level (not as important in clean wind ) ....pete
  7. .........cheers buddy . your right i ain`t too sure about that but i try to keep the kite high above me head as much as poss ... i was talking to akite surfer at week end an he said if u hold it above u u could go downwind too much....he said keep it above then run the kite forward of u ....
  8. yea thats it i got it tonight ,two in fact .two pendulum jumps on the flexdeck, not very high mind u but al the same its there......... got going crosswind at agood speed an flew the 4.5 bullet at 180 degrees oppersite and when the pull came jumped with it and landed nice and square rolling in the right direction ...fluffed it up about 30 times mind u but who cares
  9. i use this field alot an the owner did come an tellme (your the bugger that killed my dog) a month later . ijust said sorry about that ....he has new dog now
  10. i always worry about dogs that r loose when my kite is on the deck. on more than one occasion i have had dogs charge to ward it barking (especially the flo red 4.5) .i always laurch it quick if poss..but listen to this story ....the very first time i flew the above kite (my first bullet) ihad a small dog jumping up and down an barking under neath the kite . i was keeping it high wondering where the owner was and next thing i know the dog goes quiet and is surrounded by kids . icarry on blissfully un aware its had aheartfailure and died......i find this out later.....
  11. is it possible.jumping with bullets. ihave mastered the basics and im ready to start jumping. i am gonna get my first blade in a few weeks (possibly a 6.6 ) but my largest bullet is a 4.5 an i have just started with this without too much sucsess but that is more my lack of skill in this area ..i think ..any suggestions ...cheers pete.....ps i use aflexdeck

  15. ...hey neil im interested in your opinion on bullets for buggy use. ihave 1.5 2.5 4.5 and im still learning but was thinking of getting all 6 ... as have found lumpy wind at local field ,getting the right kite size is much more important than clean wind at beach. and i have neally messed up afew times struggleing to stop in field hurtling towards fences etc .whats that 7 like then ,can`t wait to try one .....pete

been twice now, yesterday was 2nd time .wind was variable exellent at times. had brill time on buggy but not sure where its ok to go, yesterday i went right down end where the water comes in this side of nature reserse(i think).the long razor shells r aright pain and a concern for your kite , inoticed the on right had none but nobody was buggying there. i was the one with the home made buggy that resembles a harley davidson .when u c it u will know what i mean...also does anyone know rules for buggying at wells .we r camping therethis weekend .if not allowed i might try it about 4 in morning tide permiting
  20. ....i made me own buggy and the seat caused some head scratching, in the end i used conyevor belting and heavy duty cable ties, and it works really well ,is comfortable and really strong(have modified it about 20 times but i think ihave got it right now)..the belting could be sourced from offcuts cheaply and is strong enough to drill holes tru and will take quite apounding ...hope this helps
  21. ! I've decided this is the year I'm going to buy a light wind, powerfull kite. Having done a bit of research, I think I might go for a NPW9, around 7m or so. Just wanted to see if anyone thinks something else might be a better option, or maybe another size might be more appropriate. The largest kite I have at the moment is a 4m bee, so I want something that will allow me to move along at a decent speed, when it becomes hard work just keeping the heavy bee in the air!! I'm dont really want any lift, just pulling power! I've heard people say the bigger bees are just a bit too heavy for their size, but I'm fairly keen to keep the price down, hence the Nasa Wing!! Any comments welcome! sounds like u need to try the new bullet 5.5 or7.0 ideal for windless days...confused... this is not my post ...don`t have a bee only bullets
