  1. If there is a modicum of wind, quite possibly, but unfortunately it looks as strong as a gnat's fart at the moment.
  2. Where is everyone off to on Friday ?
  3. I don't fancy driving the car over 85mph with two buggies on a bike rack. Just incase I deposit them on the M11 I think we will get a better idea on the weather towards the end of the week.
  4. The weather has got to be perfect for Brancaster. It's got to be a good 3 hour drive there. If it is looking good, then yes.
  5. I saw the pic of 'drenched Darren' on EPK, looks like it was fun. I've been speaking to Phil at Coastguard kites, and there's a few guys going down there on Easter Monday. Low tide is 12.30. If the weather is ok, we should be there (unless I get slaughtered the night before again)

  8. I've just posted the pics in the 'Jump gallery' , check them out, and put them below. http://www.essexpowerkiters.co.uk/gallery/albums.php
  9. No , we did'nt make it down, sorry chaps. A few of us were out last night, and I felt a bit 'Damian Duff' this morning. So we flew locally. I ended up having my biggest OBE yet with the Razor. If it wasn't for my lid, i'm sure I'd be in casualty now.... massive stack ! The wind was really gusty/lumpy and horrid. Justin braved the conditions to try out his 8.5 Blade II and did the biggest jump I've ever seen... at least 25feet up. I'll post the pictures on the EPK gallery and on this thread. Anyway sorry we didn't make it, but hopefully if the wind is ok, we'll be at highlands tomorrow.
  10. Myself, Justin and Fruit-Loop will be at Camber around 2.00pm. (Gravel car park, east end of the beach) If you fancy meeting up on the way, send me a pm and I'll give you my mobile.
  11. The Southend boys may well be at Camber on Saturday afternoon. The weather conditions look pretty good: SUNNY SW12-14 Low Tide 1630 (so a 1400 start) Maybe catch up with you Trix ?
  12. What's the mideical term for the fatty tissue surrounding the clitoris ? ....... The Wife !
  13. The Southend boys will be there! Me , Justin and Fruit-Loop. Looks best for an early start Saturday Morning. Weather is getting worse as the day goes on.
  14. You could always arm yourself with a DAZZER Handheld ultrasonic dog detterent inaudible to humans, but is clearly heard and disliked by dogs !!

  16. Myself and two mates will be at Camber tomorrow morning. Hope to say hi then !
  17. Windthings, We're leaving Southend at 0600 ish (I know it's early) for Camber. Meeting at the gravel car park at 0800. This gives the best flying time with low tide at 1000 and high at 1500.
  18. Windthings, We're leaving Southend at 0600 ish (I know it's early). Meeting at the gravel car park at 0800. This gives the best flying time with low tide at 1000.
  19. Anyone at Camber early Saturday morning ? Myself and a few lads from Southend may be paying a visit ? Would be good to see some guys with some local knowledge.
  20. I'll be there. Just picked up some new tyres for the buggy and an Advance Offroad 5.4. Itching to try it out !

The best online site is : http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/cat.jsp?ts=82658&pId=4&cId=100045 I bought some spare Nyloc nuts and bolts from Screwfix. Next day delivery
  22. We get most of our gear from Jason at Up4kiting. He has a quality range and can get almost anything in really quickly. His web site isn't up and running yet, but will be soon. I bought my Fusion and Offroad there. Both quality kites. He's got an ad in this months Powerkite mag.
  23. It was good to meet some of you guys this weekend. Nice bunch of people. I had a good laugh , when there was some wind. Maybe catch you again next week.
  24. Myself and a couple of mates may pop up to Hylands tomorrow for the first time. We've just been banned from out local field. So there is gonna be a few away trips planned soon. Any of you guys gonna be around ?
  25. I had a 2.5 and 3.5. They both 'span' when landing in a stiff wind. It got so annoying that I sold them. They are great kites for buggying with good pull, but the landing and staying grounded is their only negative.
