Flew static on Ainsdale the weekend of the fireworks comp last year Be nice to meet up and try to find some of that missing motivation to fly.

Anyone know what the traffic is usually like for the Fireworks competitions? Thinking of going Saturday night.

I swear the gods must be against me :mad: The first weekend i have had the time, the motivation and there has been wind for don't know how many months and then they tell me I can't go. Might be joining Nolan with a kit list if it doesn't get used soon :D

All sorts of dragsters, top fuel, top methanol, funny cars, bikes etc. The bloke in the transporter came second in his class - thrashing the pants off all sorts of GTI's, VR32's and Beetle's.

I hope the beach is still there! First free weekend with wind for ages..... Hope to be there fairly early. Anyone else?

Haven't done yet - been stuck on ferry for 28 hours. But now we are in Haugastol, Norway waiting for wind. :D:D:D Easy journey with a mill pond flat crossing. Clear roads and got into Hotel at 3am. Keep an eye on Turbulence website for pictures.

What was the exchange rate on the ferry like?

I'll bring PS2 for Chalet 3. Couple of driving games, Buzz quiz and plenty of movies.
