  1. I bought this board last year and it has only seen the water twice . Due to this crinnimal act the only appropriate action is to sell it to some one who will use it. I bought the board second hand off some guy who moved to NZ and couldn't take it with him. He assured me it had seen verry little use and that is clear due to lack of dings and scrapes. However the board is used so does show signs of wear which are purely superficial. In addition to this one of the fins is very slightly wobboly though i was assured this was ok. The board has Dakine bindings and a home made grab handle as well as a grap handle set at one of the ends to make leash attachement simple. The board has a very sharp edge and is nice and boyant which makes getting up a pleaurable and rapid experience. I am asking for £160 ono Any questions then let me know Pics are here: http://www.surreykitesports.co.uk/gallery/displayimage.php?album=random&cat=4&pos=-86 //www.surreykitesports.co.uk/gallery/displayimage.php?album=random&cat=4&pos=-85
  2. HI guys, Im currently redesigning http://www.surreykitesports.co.uk and require some buggy info. I already have some good beginner/ static flying info and want to add kite buggy basics. Can any of you lot think of a good on-line resource i could link to? Should cover the basics but more advance info is not needed. Thanks, Jack

  4. Alright guys and girls, the kite club now have a website and can be found at www.surreykitesports.co.uk Its in its early stages of development and looks a bit ****e. I understand there are a few ex surrey students on here and hopefuly a few current or possible future students. You don't actualy need to be a student to join but we will not be adopting none students who are complete beginners . I hope to start various training programs and frequent trips. If this sounds of interest to you guys make your self known on our forum. Cheers, Jack

  9. Hi Guys, After much hard work i have formed a surrey university kite sports club. I have to form a budget request and figure i will probably ask for a buggy an ATB (probably cheep ones) a bullet 2.5m a blade 4.9m some sort of stacker and maybe a few gurillas. Does any one now of a retailer which would offer good discounted rates to a club and offer some sort of sponcer ship. As the club is in its very earlly stages i am very kean on getting sponcers so we can get the club going. any advice would be much appreciated. thanks , jack
  10. very interested to hear how u got on as i would be interested in aranging a trip my self
  11. Hi everyone i was just wondering if u guys have any recomendation of where i could go kitesurfing. I am a poor student who has done a two day course and has fafed around with a kite on land so it would be cool if there was a school near by. So it has to be cheep and good for a beginner, oh and i would also like it to be hot and windy as well. I have had emails about the north coast of Egypt looks pretty cool but a bit pricey. any pointers would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys, jack

  16. hi blondie, yeah it is me. Cheers for the responce guys. ive contacted the sports guyand hes helped me ount in how to set up a club. I need info on insurance though, i assumeall members would need BKSA insurance. do any kite companys offer sponcership to clubs which i could approach. Having a budget for the club is still a distant sight but do any shops/ producers offer club deels if u buy a big pile of equipment. the club would be associated with the windsurfing club, but i dont want 2 limit it just 2 the water. there were a few bits of equipment but it seems they left when chops did (last VP sports guy) they probably went on ebay he was a bit corupt u see. we have 1 flexi directional thats it

  19. hell yeah i dont ski snowboard or anything all i know is 2000+ students 5 bars devoted to us all playing different styles of music. every1 will just be getting waisted and up 4 a laugh. ill probably take my 630 arc, a sledge and a role of duck tape 2 tape me in it. ill show those snowboarders what air is all about.
  20. i dont think its fair to call this guy a wusss. it sounds to me like he has a healthy respect (or fear) of what a kite is capeable of. many newbies worryingly lack this not due to being a hard arse brute but just being plain ignerant
  21. SA looks cool im going there over christmas and hope to actually get up on the board out there and avoid being eaten by a great white. whats the kitesurfing like in shark alley?
  22. i should be going and a few others from surrey uni
