how do you land? I am a bit of a wuss and get freaked out if I get more air than 2m. and by the time I land I have gathered so much speed its pretty tricky to land. if you jump on soft sand, do you jump and run on the ground to slow down or do you just go bang and stop right where you land? or what? I broke my toes when I landed a 3m jump, I was going so fast I landed first on my feet and then fell on my knees so I bent my toes up and that hurt:p. now I'm just trying some tricks in the air. just jump 1 feet and turn like 360, 720 and so on. no handers and stuff. but again. how do you land?

hey! I got my cycle speedo and it was on my previous buggy with very small wheels, but! then I got the idea that if I set the speedo on mph and so I could calculate the tire sizes so that it would be suitable for my smaller wheels and I took the mph as it would be kmph. get it? weird but worked. I´m gonna try the same on my new buggy to see what my average speeds are.

I wear a UFO plastic chest protection(used on motorcycles). some people think wearing armor makes you look stupid. but I think the opposite. when going 50mph down a beach with no armor then you look pretty stupid. a guy with good armor going 50mph looks much more professional(people can see the guy knows what he's doing), don´t you think? Like I said I use a UFO and knee pads and a helmet. I don´t go 50mph but I still like to feel that if I do get an OBE I'll be much safer with the armor.

ok but anyone know a page with better closeups on the skis? are they 100% parallel to the ground? tilted a bit? if parallel how will they prevent sideslip`?

I got a homemade with 6" wide wheels and they don't go well on snow. it is very slippery and almost no side friction. um, I thought of making some buggy skis. just take some skis and cut them short and put them under my buggy. can this be done? no I mean does it work? Ive seen a few pics of buggys like this. does a buggy like this have side friction(I mean I dont ride sideways)? or maybe skis for buggying on frozen lakes. any Ideas what to do with my buggy on snow?

make a new one out of seatbelt and add a back support. just a guess...

in most of the buggy pics I look at people are without helmets. how come? I use a helmet and (now) motorcross body armor.

http://www.sportsnmore.com/lacrosse/protect/stx/shoulder.asp is the one on the picture, a lacrosse one. I already got a Maui Magic Innovator seat. love it, tho sometimes the buckles get a bit stuck in the seat webbing but only just for a sec.

this isn't the exact protection but I'm gonna get something very alike to this one. I'll try it on to see if I can use a harness with it. good point tho, I haven't thought about the harness thingy.

my c-quad sometimes makes me obe when I don't want to. any ideas on how I could depower it when it starts pulling my but out the buggy? its really spooky when you're going fast (on concrete) and feel your butt leaving the buggy:S:S

I got a friend who said he can sell me some motorbike chest and elbow protection(for buggying of course). is it useful? http://www.sportsnmore.com/lacrosse/images/stx/protect02/exosp.jpg something like this one here. I mean how often will I land on my chest/back? tho it doesn't take more than one bad fall. so what do you think? is it useful? I already got a helmet and kneepads and stuff like that.

I got a question. don't this style helmets limit your vision much? I got a rollerblade helmet that won't get in my way. but a helmet like this I guess makes it hard to see the kite and the road at the same time, you have to turn your head a lot.

when I got my Maui magic I just practised some time how I hook and unhook. now I have no problems.
