    What the F***

Lol - i remember asking this ageeees ago when i first got my blade - i got pages and pages of answers and everyone starting debating what it was. For a beginner, i think it's basically just (as mick said) More aspect ratio = more lift (although the size of the kite plays a bigger part in lift - eg. you'll get more lift out of a blade II 9.0m than a BII 4.9m in 10mph winds, even though the blade has a higher aspect ratio) HTH

    Harness

for a more comfortable, less ball crunching harness of course! lol - from what i have HEARD they can hurt quite a bit if not fitted properly - in my opinion it may be better going with a seat harness thats all:)

  7. Ozone Imps are quite small - perhaps they are good for jumping (over)??
  8. OK, i wanna get into kiteatb. But i'm not sure which board to get. I'm a complete beginner and have never ridden a mountainboard before. I've been told by some to go for the flexdeck, and by others for the sol16. Just thought i'd ask for some more opionions. Are there any other beginners out there that started from scratch like i am planning on, and which board did you start on - was it easy to pick up??

  14. I bought a bog standard skateboarding helmet for kiting £20 from http://www.powerkiteshop.com - but i saw it (the exact same one) in freespirit in Cheltenham in one of their sales for £5:mad: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shop around;)
  15. http://www.mauimagic.com - click kiteboarding then harnesses, that is their new range which http://www.powekiteshop.com will have in a week or two. I think they are primarily used for kitesurfing, but they are well made and i *think* (as i haven't actually bought kmine - yet) they'll be good for land use. I know a couple of people who use em.
  16. would they be any good for beginners (i might wanna try kiteboarding) - which would be the best beginner deck?
  17. 27! That's some serious sh!t man!

  19. I've got a blade II - blades are good for getting air! Although so are most other 4-line kite's i've tried, but that may just be because i'm quite light! Blades are good, but try other stuff out as much as possible first.

NOSNO - the guy who invented them lives in Cheltenham - remember him on that vets program ages ago? Apparently Air Circus in cheltenham may be able to get them cheaper than anywhere else because of special ties with the guy (or so i heard)...
