  1. Guerilla's gone I'm afraid, but have a very nice Venom going cheap!
  2. GII SOLD Still have the V2 with bar, backpack, manual, etc. and the Fusion Harness.
  3. It's only a year or two old, brand new condition, still crispy. Almost half new price. Can't go a lot lower. Make an offer... Macca
  4. KB, I think the GII is sold - will post here if falls through. Venom and harness still available. Max, I did not organize for the mod myself, Schutlzie helped me. PM him? Macca
  5. Grogamanda's got his finger on it at the moment Max, but I'll let you know if that changes. Flew OK before BSR but flies really well now - tight and really responsive. It's an amazingly agile kite for a 10m wind, you can really crank it. Macca
  6. Hiya Billy, "Peter Lynn Guerilla II 13 The Guerilla II from Peter Lynn is a bridle-less, self inflated twin-skin foil which can be used for kitesurfing (it is water relaunchable), snowkiting and landboarding. Very few kites are suitable for all these activities. It is designed with a very high aspect ratio and is renowned for giving good upwind performance and huge amounts of lift." Is a function of body weight, see charts in second link below. First link is a more general description amnd review. http://www.chicagokitesurfing.com/kiteshop/guerilla.html http://www.chicagokitesurfing.com/kiteshop/buyingyourfirstkite.html Feel free to send me any other ques you have. 7. Kinda sorta but not really (bear with me for those who have already heard all this). I was a long time climber and used to live up in the Blueys in NSW - rock heaven. I moved to Vic away from climbing partners and got into wing sports - kiting and paragliding - which I've enjoyed a lot. A couple of old mates have moved down and to cut a long story short I've brushed off the climbing gear and been getting out on the rock most weekends, climbing gym mid-week and loving it. Keeping the fixed bridle kites and my board for the odd trundle, but I reckon I would get rusty and dangerous over time the longer I don't use the PL kit. So that's that. A staged and partial withdrawal rather than pulling up stumps altogether. Also I have soooooooo much sports crap in my garage between SCUBA, bikes, skis, a ton of climbing gear, PG's and kites, that I can't justify keeping the PL's just in case, so out they go.
  8. Peter Lynn Venom II 13m, red/blue, used maybe a dozen times, excellent/as new condition. Original extendable backpack and DVD manual. Bar and lines in great condition. Great no-pump depower on land and water. $800 SOLD Peter Lynn Guerilla II 10m, red/black, good condition, very recently serviced and had BSR mod. Original tube bag and carbon spars. Great depower storm kite, or versatile land kite. Flys brilliantly. $300 SOLD Dakine Fusion seat harness, excellent condition, green/orange camo pattern. $125 Post in Australia at buyer's expense or pick up from Melbourne. I'll leave that to those who actually got to go kiting... M

    Inverloch

So it was a bit moist down at Sandy Point on the w/e. On Sunday in the torrential rain we decided to go for a drive to Inverloch. It is an hour closer to Melb and has an amazing looking sand spit that looks kitable. Anyone kited here? Anyone keen to give it a try? Macca
  12. Mmm, well I was only wroung by about 35-40kts! M
  13. Looking good for the w/e on Wind Guru - Sunday best but with a chance of rain. Doesn't look like we are going to get the 40-50kts we had last time though! http://www.windguru.cz/int/index.php?sc=15753 Macca
