Alright, Has anyone just come back from moonbeach egypt?? Im off there early september and im wondering what the wind is doing? Ive been keeping an eye on Windfinder.com which is showing very lite winds at the moment, ide just like to know the true wind stats of someone who was riding in it, so i can (hopefully) stop stressing about wind for my holiday, and decide wheather or not to take my monster 19m fuel. Alright there, Im heading to moonbeach on the 10th sep. Has anyone been in september??? ive been checking the wind stats lately and its not at all good at the moment, 12knots tops. Im starting to try and find an emergancy 'MASSIVE' bow kite, just in case. the guy i booked through said they are having unusually **** wind at the moment, due to messed up world weather systems. Thank god im not there now.. Nice one edd

Hello my name is Edd Leeming, im in need of some help, Im in my final year of a Business Degree at Bangor north Wales, great kiting location, the uni was second on my priorities when moving here. I am currently in the middle of my Univercity dissertation, Its a research paper headed ‘New market understanding, Participation within segment groups of the extreme sports of Traction kiting.' There is a lack of research into this area of Extreme sports. Large funded research papers that focus upon Extreme sports have only ever mentioned Kitesurfing! Which means every other sport like buggying and landboarding etc, are being over looked!! Its my aim to focus in on each traction kite sport and gain an understanding of the characteristics and motivation behind participation. The help I need of you guys is in the form of completing my questionnaires. The more the better. There are two questionnaires 1. Is aimed at non-participants (anyone who is interested in the sports, but has not taken it up as a sport)(yet) looking for a minimum of 30 respondents. 2. This one is aimed at participants, within any form of traction kiting, no limits to who can contribute. Looking for a minimum of 50 respondents. i used the flexi VPS, for a wile, but is is not worth the bother. I then used the cross over kit which worked sweet. But now i use it on 20 meter hydro lines, with no add ons. flys lovely now. edd

Alright, im considering seeling my new 10m Venom, i have had no success selling my 11m 04 fuel, so due to fiancial ****E, one needs to go and no one wants the (sweet, mint, beautiful slingy!) Fuel. Im wondering what it would be worth second had on theis forums? Used 3-4 times??? mint. red gray complete (its so crispy and the lines are so white, i love brand new kit) cheers edd

ide go with a frenzy any day mate, 03 or 04. but ide buy a bigger size than you are probably thinking of buying,(if that makes any sence) i use a 12m 03 frenzy and find it perfect up to 20knots (bit hairy though) that meens scary to an american sorry dude... 9.5 is good.. edd

ide say 3 kites should cover most winds for any rider, ive been using 12.2, 16.5, 21.4 black tips, and have just moved on to 04 feuls of 11m, 15m and 19m. if you have the money for 4 then fair play.. get a new 30m naish.. edd

i agree....... and think a 16.5 02 black tip would be your better bet , and on that note i have one still for sale £235 complete. great kite.. edd

hello, im looking to upgrade my kit.. i currently use 2002 black tips 9.4 and 12.2. im looking for some advice on wether to go for the new nitro black tip or slingshot fuel 04.. the second hand prices for the nitro's are a lot more than the fuel's why is this??? any advice would be greatfully recived cheers edd

Which of the new 2003 black tips has the closest sizing to the 2002 15.5 black tip?? i think they ar using normal sizing this year?? i think the 2002 15.5 is about 21.5 m2. ??? any help would be cool.. cheers edd
