Thanks!
It peaked at 30mph that day @jhn.holgate. That beach typically yields 3-5 mile runs with onshore winds. There was a nasty offshore storm system the majority of that week producing pure side shore winds. So glad its a wide beach for the short strokes lol. Thanks!
I posted this over in the states but wanted to share here too. Some buggy action from this past spring. That day was called "sandmageddon" from the 30 mph winds and stinging sand. I had to scale things way back from my freshly broke middle finger. Still a greenhorn with the whole movie making thing.
Sean. We must get you to the Jekyll Island coast! The only downside is, you will hate janky wind even more when you get back home. lol
As far as the OP's question, I like them both equally. They each have pros and con's. I love the cost and simplicity of FB, but like the versatility of DP. Pretty much if its a piece of ripstop attached to a string, I like it!!!
Original Gansta longbar mod for the Nasa Stars . It is a great improvement. IMHO. The center of the PL bar is much thicker than the stock NASA bar. @IMK, this is the bar that came with my Stars immediately before the release of the NS3. Sean, is this the same HQ bar you bent? I can't remember.
