  1. All sorted, not working on the Monday so all is good for the Lake Gilles experience! Yeah!
  2. Good thing I am keeping an eye on this site... I still have one small restraint for the fact that I am not completely sure how I am going with work... Pretty sure it should be fine but just putting it on the table... Yeah I got a bed to crash that should not be a problem.. I am pretty keen to leave the friday to get as much time in as possible..... Anyway back to work! Cheers Jasper
  3. Jason, I will put my pre-order in now.... Jasper
  4. Good thing I check this topic ;-) Hopefully I will not be working over the long weekend so should be able to make it to this epic adventure... my handbrake is gone for the weekend so no restrictions there.... will keep an eye on this topic' ciao jasper
  5. HI Hilary, I reckon the price of chroming might break the bank a little bit, I had some small bikeparts rechromed which was really expensive.... There are some really cool metalic powder coatings available that might be a cheaper option but as far as protection against corrosion the gal will be providing the protection, the coating is just for looks. As far as MS-SS strength, I would say the MS will be stronger used in the case of the S2 buggy (stronger welds, same weight) I am still weighing up my options here, if you get bored with the black you can easily go for pink.. Ciao Jasper
  6. Hi Hilary, You have been a bit busy! Looking forward to this like you can't believe! Those tires look pretty decent to, wonder how they would go up the dunes and through the soft sand! Maybe different sets of tires is the way to go! Cheers Jasper
  7. HI, It's pretty much impossible to find any info on this beast. I found a copy of the manual on-line and that suggested using a pump to inflate the kite and by the looks of it that might be the best way to get it inflated as the smallish velcro opening in the leading edge would take quite some time.... Makes you wonder why it's such a rare kite. Anyway I was after a high wind depowerable kite but not sure if this fits the bill as such. Cheers Jasper
  8. Sounds good to! why wait till September? what's wrong with April/May? Cheers Jasper
