I have a Speed 2 and Manta II 10m as well. To be honest I still haven't completely clicked with the Flysurfer, and I still consider myself pretty inexperienced, so I tend to switch down to the Manta sooner than I could, rather than being overpowered. That said, I find the Manta still has reasonable power when I switch so the join in their range could be closer.

I live down in Leavesden but work in Hemel. Without going up to Stopsley in Luton, best place I have found is Bunkers Lane Park. The odd few fly down there but not many. While I agree waiting for the next model will bring the price down I can't think of any features me Black doesn't have that I could want. Especially with the most recent software update. And if you're not sure about going for the black, my personal preference would be to take a look for a hero 2 or 1 as I'm not sure you gain much from the white or silver for the extra cost. Yes, the WiFi options are nice but a lot of difference in price for it.

At the ripe old age of 24 I'm already having issues with anterior knee pain as a result of landboarding on rough ground. Not to be taken for granted as its very difficult to treat and if you ignore it can stop you doing a lot more than just kiting!
